In 2003 I had an emergency appendectomy. It was supposed to be routine, but during the procedure the surgeon accidentally rupture my bowel. So, instead of a small laparoscopic scar i awoke to a long 5" scar running from my BB down. I was pretty horrified. Needless to say, two pregnancies, one of which was a C-section, didn't make things better. I gained 50+ lbs during both pregnancies.

I am 5'3 and weigh between 135-140lbs currently. I workout consistently. My lowest weight recently was 130lbs, but I found I didn't like the way I looked due to all the extra skin.

Ugh.

Haven't worn a bikini since college (15+ years). Bought this one in anticipation of my upgrade. These were taken two weeks ago. I'm in the middle of a workout challenge and I took these as a "before". It's pretty bad. I don't look nearly this awful in a tankini.

Hey girly, we have the surgery date, woohoo! What all are you having done? I'm having a drainless TT, muscle repair, and lipo on my flanks and mid back. I will have a 3 day pain pump to get me through the roughest time. Look forward to hearing from you and following your journey! 39 more days!

Thank you for starting your story. Your body has been put through the wringer and you deserve this! I'm sorry your bowel was punctured during your appendectomy. So glad you are okay and am looking forward to watching you transform before our eyes. One more month!
