My unrealistic expectations. The fault is mine

Dr. Alphonso and his staff are helpful, nice and honest. My previous experience was my fault because of my unrealistic expectations. I regret my quick response and wish I could delete the post. If dr. Alphonso checks these, I truly apologize and the fault is mine

Retract my statement....
My results were okay but still a lot of puffiness in my upper abdomen. He said he would fix and we added lipo to my upper back/bra roll area. We also did a lipo procedure to the armpit area. I took before and after pictures AND measured. There is NO difference. At. All. I just went in and spoke with him and he disregarded my concern and said there was change. His assistant took pictures and put the before and after pics side by side. It was clear that there was no change whatsoever but she tried pointing out areas that she was seeing change - which there was none. In fact, some before looked better than now. And the axillary area?? WASTE OF TIME AND $2500. Horrible waste of a LOT of money and would not go there again. And I won't recommend him or his office to anyone. Severely disappointed with him now that I am further out.

I have also spoken with two area plastic surgeons - both agree that my results were not good and big improvements can be made. Dr. Alfonso said "this area is hard to see results" and it's a difficult area to treat. Then why the heck did you do it in the first place?! Why did I spend an additional $8,000 for a procedure that did NOTHING?!!

Dr. Alphonso and staff are GREAT!! PLEASE PLEASE DISREGARD THE PREVIOUS retractment!! Dr. Alphonso clearly explained what the realistic results were and I expected things that were not possible. I wanted magic and not continue a healthy diet and exercise and I blamed him for my laziness. He did exactly as promised. YOU WILL LOVE DR. ALPHONSO. Please know you will NOT regret using dr Alphonso. If you are honest and realistic and follow up with the need to not eat donuts and lay on the couch, you’ll love your results!’

I would do this procedure again in a heartbeat! Mostly because Dr. Alphonso and the entire staff at Grand Rapids Plastic Surgeons were AMAZING! Better than I ever anticipated or hoped for! Dr. Alphonso is, by far, the most compassionate, understanding, patient and talented doctor I could have ever imagined - and not just in the plastic surgeon realm. He took the time to answer ALL of my questions (and I had A LOT), was caring and understood my goals. I could not have asked for a better experience overall. In addition to Dr. Alphonso himself, the entire staff - from first contact by phone, nurses, intake and post-op - was exceptional. I have never felt more comfortable and at ease with a procedure. I was very anxious prior to the surgery and the entire staff made me feel at ease and welcome. I am more than pleased with the results and it has exceeded my expectations. I find myself thinking of other procedures that I would like to have completed just so I can work with him and his staff again! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Dr. Alphonso for anyone looking to have any type of procedure completed! Worth every single penny! Thank you Dr. Alphonso and your entire staff!!
