Week update!

It's been almost 2 weeks since my coolsculpting treatments and I feel great! Surprisingly my numbness is almost gone. I wore a girdle/compression shirt for 2 days straight and didn't feel I needed it again on the third day or beyond- also my skin was getting itchy from being in tight clothes for so long. The nurse said I would have numbness for over a month, so this makes me really happy! The first several days I felt really uncomfortable from the feeling and I didn't think I'd be able to want to deal with that for such a long time but it's becoming so mild I don't even notice that I'm really that numb. I don't really notice any changes to my body yet, but I also haven't been eating well or exercises like I'd want to. I think once the holidays are over and I get back into a routine I'll be seeing more results! Still excited about this and I'm hoping it will be worth it!!

Hi everyone! I am two days post coolsculpting...

Hi everyone! I am two days post coolsculpting treatment. I have been heavily reading reviews so I figured it was time to make a post about mine! I had 4 rounds of Coolsculpting done in one session, with a total of 8 suction pieces on me (sorry I don't have the correct terminology lol). So for each round I had two auctions on at a time- I had 2 on each sides of my flanks and 4 on my stomach.

I went to Ideal Image in Grand Rapids. Everything went pretty smoothly! The facility was really clean and the nurse was super sweet and encouraging. The treatment took a little over three hours. I didn't have any pain just some initial discomfort. Honestly it was very uncomfortable for me to get massaged after each round, it really kind of hurt. I wouldn't say it was unbearable but it was definitely the worse part of the whole experience. I am also a petite person, only 5'1, so I did get lightheaded after the first and second round (which she said was normal especially for someone that was smaller and closer to their ideal weight). That feeling went away fairly quickly and she made sure to give me time before moving onto the next round. At the end when we were all finished and I got up to change my clothes I did get lightheaded again to the point of almost passing out. I called her into my changing room and she waited with me, gave me crackers and water. I finally felt good enough to finish getting dressed and on my way out, she offered me a coke for the drive. The whole experience was pleasant and although I was nervous she assured me several times that I was going to be fine. I did feel pretty cold after the first treatment so I was wrapped up in blankets and I watched Netflix during the whole thing! For three hours, it felt like it went by pretty quickly.

Now, I am two days post treatment and I feel pretty good. I am obviously still numb on my stomach, I have some bruising on my love handles (more towards my back). I am wearing the girdle, that they give you, all day and night - I don't like how I feel with it off yet lol. I am hoping that I will be fully recovered (not numb) quicker than I expect but I am only taking it one day at a time and trying not to focus so much on the weirdness that I feel lol. I will post pictures after a week!

Oh I should also note that my boyfriend and I walked in to have our free consultation on Monday and I was scheduled that Wednesday. His appointment is scheduled for next Thursday (December 14th).
