Deflated After Weight Gain, Loss. Got Lift and Augmentation.

I chose to go with Dr. Alfonso after a girlfriend recommended him and after watching a video of him on YouTube. Many plastic surgeons seemed arrogant or not very down-to-earth, but Dr. Alfonso presented himself as intelligent, capable and compassionate. I was quoted 20k (Canadian) by a leading Calgary surgeon for what I wanted done and got exceptional results by instead going with Dr. Alfonso for nearly half that rate. His team was professional the whole way through, from pre-op to post. They even gave me and my boyfriend gift bags we with goodies from their spa and a gift certificate. My biggest fear was scarring. I'm an RN and have seen botched augmentations and resulting scars. For the results I got, coupled with my professional medical experience, I can say Dr. Alfonso is an artist. I'm blown away at the incision sites. I was also impressed that his office doesn't sell the silicone dressings when they could make money on them. His staff told me they don't work and so they don't recommend them. I did not use any surgical dressings. I kept the steri strips on for close to weeks, then reapplied more that I bought and literally kept them covered by steri strips, and minimised any contact with water, keeping them clean and dry. I also wore the bra they provided religiously. The only feedback I would have for the office is to provide two of them because it's inconvenient having only one to wear. I also did not take any baths for nearly three months post-op - and I LOVE baths! If you are considering Dr. Alfonso for your augmentation and/or lift, I recommend him and his staff 100%
