Dr. B is GREAT at what he does. Highly recommend.

I flew in from another state to have Dr. Bengtson do breast augmentation on me. I was so nervous about traveling for a BA but wanted someone who promised a fast, nearly pain-free recovery and someone who had a track record of very low complication rates. My BA with Dr. B lived up to it! I had no pain at all after surgery, just some tightness and pressure on my chest. I only took Ibuprofen on the first day and nothing else since then. I had full use of my arms and could easily take care of myself immediately after surgery.

If you're like me and nervous about traveling for a BA, it was actually very easy and something that Dr. B and his staff, especially Elizabeth, organized well. Day 1, I flew in (it was the day before surgery) and I met with Dr. B for pre-op. Then surgery was on Day 2. After surgery, I went back to the hotel, rested a bit, and then was feeling surprisingly well enough to shower and go out for dinner with my husband. On Day 3, I was out and about all day at the malls shopping and out to see a movie. On Day 4, I met with Dr. B for a post-op visit and then flew back home later that day. Very smooth process!

Everything else has gone smoothly since arriving back home. I've had only minor discomfort and have been able to immediately return to my usual routine with work, kids, household chores, driving, etc. I've had practically no downtime. Anytime I have a question about my BA, I just email the nurse, Amanda, and she is great in returning my emails and answering my questions. Post-op visits with Dr. B are through Skype.

I read and follow the BA recovery of other women online, and they seem to have a lot of pain and difficulties with getting back to normal and are limited in the daily activities they can do, even weeks or months after. I'm extremely glad I decided to have Dr. B do my surgery. His gentle techniques really do work wonders for a fast recovery, and the travel to get to him was well worth it. Oh, and also my breasts are beautiful!!! He also made the incisions smaller than usual, and they're already healing up so well. I can't understand why anyone would get a breast augmentation the traditional way when there is this technique that Dr. B does that is so much better and easier on the body.

I am thoroughly happy with Dr. B's work.
