I'm 4 weeks out and loving my boobs. It seems as though a week and a half ago, I suddenly didn't need to cover them up anymore. Before that, they seemed noticeably large, but now they seem totally natural when I'm clothed--proportional. No more squeaking or pain. I've started doing cardiovascular exercise again (running), but no lifting weights or anything. Doc says 2 more weeks for that. They've definitely gotten softer and they move more. A huge improvement over what I had before!

I'm starting to get used to my new boobs now. At first I was a little freaked out, and worried that they might be too big or that I'd never feel like they are part of me, but the worry has started to ebb and I'm getting excited for my new figure. One of my breasts has sort of a line of soreness from my armpit (from the incision) to the nipple, which is extra sensitive. That one also seems to have dropped slightly less than the other side. I can't wait until I feel 100% again! The incisions themselves are slightly lumpy still, but healed on the outside. They don't hurt at all anymore.

Last night was the first night that I didn't even wake up with discomfort. I slept right through the night (800mg ibuprofen) and woke up to the blaring alarm clock for work. I'm still being careful about what I lift (avoiding lifting the baby+carseat as much as possible), and do not have full reach because of my incisions, but am doing quite well. No one would notice that I'm being particularly careful about how high I lift my arms or how much weight I carry. I think that by next week I'll pretty much have full range of motion and not worry about lifting my kids. My doc said no weight training (pushups or weight-bearing exercises--repetitive motions) for 6 full weeks though.
