Hey! It's been a year since you had your surgery. How are you doing now? It'd be great to have an update from you :)

Shower Day!

I am still elated with being implant free! I showered and saw the girls for the first time; I know they are only going to get better and I am thrilled. My right breast is more tender due to the scar tissue that was removed but is draining well.

Hi, just wondering how much pain you had after surgery up until now? Did you have scar tissue removed from both sides?
My pain has been manageable with meds and ice and is minimal compared to the implant surgery! Scar tissue was only on my right side and it was squeezing the implant.
You are looking so great!! how long are you expected to have tubes in?
Where did you buy the sports bras? I bought a couple but those are so cute
Fruit of the Loom style #96014 at Wal Mart! They are what my doctor suggested.

I feel great! I was under general anesthesia.
Congratulations! You've taken a huge step and you're on the other side now :) I hope your healing goes really well. Thanks for sharing your story. Its very inspirational as I'm about to embark on the same journey. Big (gentle) Hugs.
