Doing great at 6 months and I love my results. I didn't have much change in D&F until a few weeks ago. All the bras I purchased at 3 & 4 months PO fit differently now. My 32DDD VS Unlined Demi is too tight in the cup and my 34DD Unlined Date bras are too wide in the band but I just latch on the tighter hooks. The 32DDD also has less coverage in the cup. They're squishy but my muscles will tense at times. My right is finally catching up to the left :) So happy!

I love those bras! I'm starting to get back down to a 32 band, I was prior to surgery then after 34 band and cups seem to fit me better...but I'm worried if 34 gets too big the 32 cups will not fit....lol. #BugBoobProblems

Ya, my 32ddd cups are so much smaller (and less coverage) than my 34dd (VS bras) I have a 30G Freya and it fits very similar to the 32ddd VS. And it’s not just brand variations but styles too...VS Very Sexy Unlined in a 34dd if I latch on the tightest hooks and man handle the underwire, I can wear it comfortably. That’s been my only option atm lol.

Love the results and pics! My medium bralettes are starting to be too big in the band width at only 5 weeks post op!

Thanks! :) Personally, I think I take terrible photos of my boobs lol. I did attempt to have husband take a few one time and they were 10x worse ha! ~

Thank you! I quickly went thru your review pics and you look fabulous! I held on to that flippin PO weight for way too long lol. Had to quit cookies as the crumbs in your cleavage is mighty painful;)

You look absolutely gorgeous!!!!! I love the teal bra! I have 2 like that but they are too small now and I have the quad boob look which is definitely not sexy! :( You should try a Natori Feathers plunge bra. They are sooooo comfy and cute! Since we are pretty similar size wise, it may work well for you too

Late bloomer...

I am a slow person. I don't like to be rushed, I prefer to take my sweet time and I usually arrive late. My boobs are following suit and didn't seem to be making much progress for what seemed to be for-ev-er. I'm now making sure to massage more often (1x day or more) and I try to go braless when I can. Having no working parathyroid glands works against me as it leaves me with a calcium deficiency. Calcium assists in muscular contractions and if I forget a dose or get stressed, calcium blood levels drop and I experience tetany and/or constant whole body muscle contractions :/ For a few weeks I thought my boobs would stay high, stuck up under my muscle forever since all my fellow March surgery girls were way ahead of me as far as dropping and settling goes but like I mentioned, I'm slow:) maybe I can't see my progress because I'm over analyzing....
Finally bought a bralette today! Caught the end of what's left of VS semi annual sale and while there was not a single bra in my size, I did find a bralette that I had been interested in a few weeks ago. No time to try on in store but was relieved when I finally did at home. I was afraid of bralettes because of the size guide as I don't fall into any size category. The medium band fit well on the tightest clasp and the halter neck is adjustable. Win win for $7. Super soft lining and the black lace makes it appear I put some sexy effort in with no actual effort at all;)
Sensation has also been slow to return with right behind the left and what I can feel, isn't a pleasant feeling.
Scars aren't pretty :/ using silicone scar strips religiously for about 6 weeks? Maybe more.
Including photos in my update as I found them so helpful when researching my BA:)
Take care and Happy 4th!

I think you look great! It can get frustrating though waiting for things to settle in. I'm 5 months post op and my left breast still has not dropped :( hopefully, in time, we will get there lol!

Thank you:) I have a scar at the bottom of my neck and I didn't do anything with it. My husband says he never notices it anymore. I remember it was red but not for this long:/ I don't know if that's a good thing or not hehe.

Yes, I have a long scar going down my wrist from a surgery last August. I didn't do anything to it and now it is barely noticeable and white. Well, it's noticeable, but you have to be looking for it.

I was just reading about a study on scar formation and stress lol. Makes sense since we are all so worried about our scars. I liked my neck scar and it's basically nonexistent. I guess I need to love on my new scars lol!

Have you considered massaging your scars? Check out "Julia's bosoms" reviews. I have been massaging my scars after one month post. They look pretty flat. I can feel some chunk of scar tissue behind incisions still. Scar formation lasts about one year, so you can definitely do something about them;)

I was massaging with the Palmers Rose Hip oil (omg smells so good!) but once I started the silicone scar strips, I found that if I used the oil or even any moisturizer on my scars, the strips wouldn't fall right off:/ the skin that's typically covered by the scar strip is smoother than butter lol. - I was just reading about scars and wound healing.. a raised pink/red scar is still healing (that's why silicone scar strips state they won't do much for flat scars) so a slow healer will actually have less scarring. Younger ppl heal fast but grandma wound takes forever but she will have less scarring. I have grandma health issues so hopefully I have her super scar healing powers lol. I'm assuming without fact checking that the silicone strips slow down the healing process. In the end, it's probably 45% Dr technic and 45% hereditary (insert eye roll emoji because realself doesn't support it)

Look into Biocorneum for your scars. I've been using it 3 weeks (have review posted, take a look!) and can tell a huge difference this far! You look simply amazing!!

Thank you kindly:) I've looked into silicone gels but I'm too forgetful to apply them as often as required (shameful emoji) so the sheets seem to work best for me:) how awesome you get to test it out! Looking great so far!

Yeah mine says twice a day but on "clean dry skin" and I only shower once a day so I really only apply once a day. Still seeing amazing results ☺️ I hope the sheets work for you!

Drop & Fluff Progression

User Avatar

Zillions of before & after breast augmentation photos, but very few photos of what those boobies look like AFTER settling. Even the after photos are typically taken at 3ish months. Drop & Fluff is a process and takes months no matter how big your boobs are to begin with. But having less tissue to begin with, means a longer process (that's me!). They soften, the different muscles stretch and relax and your implant drops. You lose some upper pole fullness and gain a fuller rounded breast on the bottom. While looking for information, I found that doctors are all over the place when it comes to stating when the process is complete. Some state 4 months, some 9-12. I put these lovely collages together for those (patiently?) waiting....

I'm a researcher by profession, I've read all the doctors recommendations on sleeping in a bra and it still does not help the fact that I'm terrified they will slip into my armpits :O
