Wow, not easy to type on pain meds!

Just read over some of my earlier posts and my goodness, I had some serious typos in there????. I guess that's what happens when you're taking Percocet every 5 hours! On a happy note, the pain has been alleviated my the meds. Along with using my ice packs constantly, I'm pretty much still pain free. We'll see how the night goes. Here are some pics of me standing.

Day 1 Post-op

Well everything went well yesterday. I was called to come in at 8:45 instead of 10:00. Actually I was glad to go in earlier so my nervous would have less time to do into overdrive! I took a coupe of very mild anxiety pills that I had for flight anxiety. Needless to say, I was pretty sleepy and relaxed the whole time.

Dr. Goshorn ended up going with 500cc in the left and 450ccin the right. He tried the 550 in the left but said it just wouldn't have looked right even after enlarging the pocket more. Right now, them are looking more symmetrical but time will certainly tell! I'm in pain but it bare able with the pain meds. I did wake up at 3:30 desperately needing more, but woke up plush. Right now I'm just relaxing in the silence(my hubby is taking the kids to school????). Here's a pic of me in bed. I'll post some better shots once I'm up and out of bed.

Consultation & Sizing, exciting stuff!

So, I am using Dr. Goshorn of Memphis for my BA. He comes highly recommended from about 10 of my very close friends. After meeting him during my consult, my husband and I both fell in love with him and decided that he was the perfect one to perform the procedure.

Actually, everyone if the office was very pleasant, reassuring, and helpful as we maneuvered our way throughout the process.

Upon calling the office, we were booked for our consult the following week. Since I had already done a considerable amount of research and reading on the procedure, this made me very happy. Not sure if I mentioned before, but we are moving 14 hours away in the next 6 weeks. So, I either needed to have this done here locally with someone personally recommended or wait to get moved and find someone in our new hometown. But again, after meeting Dr. Goshorn, we knew this was the best decision for us.

During our sizing visits (it took two to finally decide) we choose the moderate mentor silicon gel with 500cc in the right and 550 in the left. Still going back and forth as to whether or not this is a tad too large. I have very wide hips that can be seen in the pics. I've always been very pear shaped, so I was hoping to finally achieve a more hour glass figure. Would love to hear any opinions.:)
