Got my surgery done on 01/03/15 at Allure Medspa by Dr. Milan Doshi
Hospital:
Staff at allure Med spa is very nice and very helpful especially the day attendant , Couldn't thank her because she left in the evening and I got discharged next morning before she arrived.
You can go home in the evening itself but since I stay far from Goregaon I decided to stay back for a night for the fluid to drain completely.
The room (Suite) allotted to me was very nice with mini-fridge, Oven and TV, You can get tea and biscuits from the hospital itself & for meals there are plenty of hotels nearby and since the hospital is very near to station you can get lot of varieties to choose from in the evening.
Surgery:
As far as the surgery i concerned, It was worth doing because I literally had stopped wearing any round neck or collar t-shirts in the past because of this problem. In t-shirts it was more visible, so I used to wear loose shirts, but just few days after the surgery I wore round neck t-shirt after shower just to see how it looks and it was amazing feeling, it is not visible at all and chest looks perfect in t-shirt.
I feel Dr. Doshi tries to give natural look to your chest but there are also some limitations during surgery, if more fat and gland will be removed then your nipple will not able to adjust the chest and your chest will have more loose skin.
Pain is more in first week, today is 17th day after surgery and pain is very less but skin and nipples are numb but I guess its because of the vest & will get well soon after I stop wearing it.
Compression vest is very tight and it causes discomfort, but you just have to wear it for 3-4 weeks and its very important part of this procedure, after surgery you have no option but to wear compression garment as directed by doctor for prescribed period. In my case I have been advised to wear it for 3 week which will finish next Tuesday and after that I have to wear it for 12 hours every day for another 3 weeks.
I had planned this surgery during my off period so i haven't resumed my work, but will advise from my experience that everyone should take at least one week rest after surgery because you have to take medicines for 10 days and if you rest after taking medicines it really helps, so from my point of view i advise one week rest. If you are travelling during this period you will feel pain because of movement in chest area.
All in all I’m very much pleased with the results and glad to get the surgery done by Dr. Milan Doshi.
