Very Good Experience- Lower Bleph, Mini Neck Lift and Fat Transfer to Face
WORTH IT
Fantastic!
The Beginning: I had been researching fat transfer for years. After I had my kids I felt like all the youthfulness left my face and I looked work out all the time. I had a trip coming up to Guadalajara and decided to reach out to Dr. Nashielli based on the reviews I read and also because she specializes in faces. Lori contacted me right away and we worked out the particulars.
I met Dr. Nashielli the day before surgery and we went over my goals. She explained what the surgery consisted of. I asked what kind of pain I would feel, etc. and she told me it would be ore numb than painful. At that point I had not decided on the lower bleph, and she told me to think about it and I could tell her in the morning. The morning of surgery I walked to the hospital and did the intake. One thing I really liked about Dr. Nashielli is that she does the surgery in the hospital so it made me feel safer. After the intake everything went pretty fast. I was taken upstairs where I dressed and was asked many questions, I guess so they could make sure I was conscientious of the surgery I was getting ready to undertake. Once I went to the OR, I asked the anesthesiologist if I would need the tube and he told me I would be breathing on my own. I had decided to do the lower bleph as well as the other procedures. After I asked him about the anesthesia I was out. Next thing I know I woke up because my eyes were burning. I remember yelling "my eyes" and a nurse brought me some ice to put on them. After that I was given some Jello and water, I was able to keep it down so they transferred me to my room. These were outpatient procedures but I opted to stay in the hospital the first night out of an abundance of caution.
Lower Bleph: This is probably the procedure that I needed the most but the one I was most afraid of because of the swelling and bruising. It was also the most painful. I iced as recommended and massaged and the bruising was gone within 10 days. I am now 3 months post op and can only see a small scar below my right eye. It is not very noticeable unless you are looking for it, but it is more noticeable than the left eye where you can't tell anything at all went on (except for the removal of the unsightly bags). On this one I am 98% happy(only cause one of the little scars is still slightly noticeable)
Mini Neck Lift: This procedure was the least painful- for the most part. My initial goal was to just have lipo because I felt like I had that awful fat there that made my neck look bad. Dr. Nashielli advised that she didn't recommend that because of the elasticity of my skin. She pretty much told me if she sucked the fat out I would be left with a turkey neck. After the surgery I didn't feel much in that area, jut numbness. However, once I started with the massages I did feel pain. I still have swelling in my neck area, but again, you only notice if you are looking for it. I am still massaging and hope that the swelling continues to diminish. I have got to say, that despite the swelling, my profile has greatly improved and I am about 90% happy. (the 10 is because of the remaining swelling).
Fat Transfer: Now, this is what I had wanted for years and years, yet I was also aware of the fat death, etc. The donor fat came from my lower belly, which only hurt a little after. And though my face was swollen from the other procedures, I could still tell where the needles had been inserted for the fat transfer. I am happy with the result because my face looks much more youthful than before. I do think many of my fat cells died already and will look to repeat this procedure in the future. Despite of this I can tell my skin has better quality than it did before and my frown lines are mostly gone. My nasolabial folds are less noticeable, but this is the area where I will want to get more in the future. I also feel that the pigmentation I had on my skin somewhat lessened. On this one I am about 94% happy overall (only because some fat died already).
I will update as time progresses and healing continues. I am sure the happiness will go up for the first two, but I am aware that the fat will continue to adapt and will lessen. This is just a fact and nothing to do with Dr. Nashielli.
I would definitely choose to go to Dr. Nashielli again and I have highly recommended her to anyone who has had the courage to ask. Some, I have told myself and also recommended her. It is scary to go out of the country to get surgery. To me, Lori was amazing. … she even called me an uber on her dime after the consultation was over because I didn't have the app. She also told me the places I could visit in GDL. That said, after the lower bleph, you're really going to want to keep your eyes closed for the longest. I would have waited to go out.
The only part of the trip I didn't love was the hotel. Now, the hotel is a nice hotel, the staff is OK. The one thing I didn't like about it is that the rooms don't have a fridge, so we had to get ice from downstairs to keep the waters cold. The water had to say cold because I had to keep icing the areas.
If/when I go back, I will likely look for another type of accommodation. I have tons of pictures and will eventually upload some. In the meantime, keep free to PM me and I will send.
100% recommend Dr. Nashielli to any and everybody!!!!!! She, Lori and Magda are ALL Amazing!
