I am in my mid-thirties, and have always felt my breasts were too small. Not only that, but after having 3 kids they were never the same. If you're a mama, you know what I mean!
PROS-
They would look better! I would feel better!
CONS-
Was worried what others would think. That something bad might happen. That is was shallow to spend money on new boobs.
I scheduled a consultation, because to me the first step was knowing how much it would cost. That would make the difference if it could become a reality or not for me.
Dr. Tholen and his team were so amazing, I was immediately put at ease. They were so nice, and relatable. They were knowledgeable, and took their time to answer all my questions. You are not just a number and they do not upsell you. I had ''proof in the pudding'' so to speak of this particular practices results as I know others who were happy with procedures they'd had done here, so I did not do any other consults.
I decided to schedule the surgery for the next week so I wouldn't over think the process and psych myself out. My husband met Dr. Tholen later, and he loved him too.
I was worried about getting nauseous, but I never did and was told their nausea rate is extremely low. I was afraid right before the surgery started, because that's when it became real. However,The surgery went without a hitch. While I did experience pain afterwards it was completely worth it and totally tolerable. It wasn't life ending pain and it was a small blip in the big scheme of things. I did have a setback in recovery, but it was handled extremely efficiently. This to me, was more ''proof in the pudding'' that Dr. Tholen knows his stuff. I basically laid in bed and watched movies, and was waited on like a princess...it's like a vacation! Make sure you get all of your supplies ahead of time (like ice packs), and have all your ducks in a row (cleaning, laundry, help for the day etc).
Everyday when I look at myself in the mirror, I am so glad that I had this surgery done. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner...I have had extremely positive feedback and my life has actually changed for the better since I've had them done! To me, feeling better and looking better has been priceless, I would do it a million times over. They look amazing, and feel amazing!
