I migrated to the United States from the Middle East in what is referred to as an arranged marriage. Due to the conservative culture and upbringing, I was not able to workout or go out in public without full cover. I had two beautiful girls during that time until I divorced my husband.
Couple of years later, I re-married (this time it was my decision) and had two more beautiful twin girls. The 3 pregnancies have had their impact on my body. I had saggy skin everywhere and that is when I visited Dr. Tholen. He performed a lower body lift procedure. I could not have been happier. I have my body now and now as a naturalized citizen living my full potential and enjoying life, there is no holding back. I have gotten myself a full back tattoo and am even modeling at mid 40's. It feels fantastic!

You look amazing!  I am in awe of your full back tattoo.  Which procedure was more painful - the body lift or the tattoo?

Honestly, it was the tattoo. AT least with recovery from surgery, you have meds to help deal with the pain but with the tattoo, the most painful part was during and not after and any pain killers are considered blood thinners and not advised. Still, so worth it to cover the scar in the back

Hello saintrne, I've added more pics as I needed to resize some of them.

No before pics? No review about the surgery and recovery? Just modeling pics with the first being very distasteful? Strange.

Update and more pics

I am adding more pics.
The fist 3 days after the surgery were painful. I remember the most painful part was the feeling the two drainage tubes move under my skin whenever I moved. I was very happy to have them removed after 1 week. Since the surgery was a while back, I do not recall all details, but I do remember being concerned how my skin healed where the stitches were without bumps or folds. First 3 months were tough because I could not tell if/when some of the "not too flat" skin connecting between lower part and upper part was going to improve.
Six months post and after, the skin seems to have settled and if not for the healing scar, you cannot see difference between how the skin healed above or below it. Around that time, I started applying aloe cream in hopes of getting the scar to get lighter.
18 months post surgery, The scar was lightly visible from the front but I could still see it from the back. I decided to get the tattoo for complete coverage.
Overall, I am happy my butt skin is lifted, the upper things area beneath my butt looks firmer. Before this surgery, no matter what I did to work out I always had to look at the saggy butt and skin, now it's gone. I am grateful and proud to be a mother of four beautiful girls, and now on top of that feel I can go out and enjoy activities without worrying too much about how my things/butt/skin looks.
