Sore..burning..day one..
Today is day two, post surgery...all went very well yesterday .....had pain and soreness afterwards but that's to be expected. Doctor called me night of surgery and next morning to check on me. My nurse in the surgical center called to check on me as well on day two. Everyone is very nice and happy to answer any and all questions. My doctor tells me I'm being a great patient, following all directions for aftercare. I don't want any problems and I want good results. He's done his job and I'm trying to do mine as best I can. He says he took out 2 liters which is somewhere between 4 and 5 pounds. At least that's what I read on line. Doesn't seem like much but I'm not a very big person, 5'3", 128 pounds and was looking to have some excess upper and lower belly fat, flanks and lower back fat removed. Majority of pain was day one, mostly a burning sensation with pain and watery leakage tinged with blood, which is completely normal. Had to take prescribed pain pills but on day two just took Tylenol. I also started my antibiotics and Arnica pellets, 200ck. Don't have a follow up until three days from today so not much to report until then except cat naps and pill popping. Will check back in after my followup on Saturday and will try and get some pictures at that time...

I am looking to have some improvement on my stomach. I had stomach surgery several years ago which left me with an ugly scar. As I've aged, the scar is starting to fall and basically take on a life of its own due to the normal skin aging process. I've tried all the skin firming products, even prescription potions and oil products from the dermatologist's office, vitamin supplements, massage, R.F therapy, Velashape, waist trainers, tons of excercise and bootcamp, dieting (those last two are on-going), and an array of other home and expensive med spa remedies. I'm in good shape otherwise, for my age. Still rockin' my bikini and why not, I work my butt off in the gym and watch what I eat. Anyways, I finally succumbed to lipo to try and improve the upper and lower abdomen, flanks and lower back. Yes, I would love to have the scar fixed but after an abdominal MRI, two plastic surgeons have told me, the risk is very high that because there are adhesions and very thin areas of skin on my scar there would be a possibility of cutting into my bowel if they were to surgically remove the scar and do a revision. So after hearing this distressing news, I opted to only have some lipo AROUND the scar, at least two inches away from the "danger zone" on the upper abdomen and lower "FUPA" abdominal area. Lol...my doctor is going to try to and improve the area as much as possible without causing any damage my insides. Yes, all that hormonal "fat" ...no matter how much diet and exercise we do, it does not come off. So tomorrow is the big day. I'm taking my arnica pellets, quit vitamins and green tea over a week now. No facials, micro's or Velashape treatments or spa treatments for now until a couple weeks after my procedure. Anyways, will keep everyone posted. I'm scared as hell and doctor says this is only a 2 hour procedure. General anesthesia and also my doctor has an assistant. So I'm praying all goes well, I don't have too much pain although I do expect some discomfort and have my prescription pain pills, Tylenol, prescribed antibiotics and arnica pellets all lined up, ready to go for tomorrow. Have my mom to take care of me, if necessary, but supposed be up and waking next day which will help with healing process. Will check back in when I can....

So far, Dr Sattler has been so nice and patient, answering all my questions and concerns. Even from my mom and she's a toughie. Lol...Hoping all goes well during my procedure and that my doctor does a good, safe job.
