This I will update when I get closer to my final result.
I decided to have a tummy tuck after having twins and seeing how my stomach would never be "normal" no matter how much weight I lost or how much I exercised. I am 5'4" and weighed 200 lbs by the end of my pregnancy with twin boys. My pre-pregnancy weight was 120-130 lbs. the skin was so stretched and ugly I tried to imagine living the rest of my life like that and thought maybe it was just vanity to have a tummy tuck. But the more I thought about it the more I wanted to do it. I got so tired of trying to hide my stomach In every type of clothes I wear so I decided to go for it. My boys are 5 now so I thought it was a good time too. I am looking forward to wearing a bikini again in the summer and being able to wear what I want to work, at home and out without this huge pouch to hide. I am still in the midst of recovery so I cannot say how I feel about the final result yet... But I am excited to get there. Best of luck to all who are considering or recovering from surgery!!!

Welcome to the community.  You are looking good for being only 1 month post op.   The swelling will improve with time so hold on.  Also, are you massaging the tummy?  This really helps with the scar and healing.  Firm circular massage using either Bio Oil or Palmer's Oil.

Thank you!! I did not know about massaging. I will try that. What about coconut oil?

An organic, unrefined coconut oil is also very good.  You can buy a large tub of that at Walgreen's for under $14.00.

Sorry. Just saw this. I like the embrace tape so far. It really holds the incision together well. I'll let you know how I like it at 8 weeks too. ;) that's when I stop using it
