Wow! Couldn't Have Lucked out More Finding Dr. Maki and His Crew! Better Than I Ever Could Have Hoped! Glendale, CA

I lucked out with Dr. Maki! I was actually in the office shared with Dr. Trenkle for sinus surgery. I'd been thinking it would be nice to, since I was going to need 10 days off work for the sinus surgery, to have a face lift during that time. But I'd gotten quotes elsewhere of ~$20k, so considered it financially out of reach. When I was in their office, I commented that it was too bad they don't also do facelifts, and they said they DID! I said I couldn't afford $20K anyway, and they said it wouldn't be near that much. Dr. Maki looked at me closely (an on-the-spot consult) and quoted $6500, and said he could do it 2 days after the sinus surgery. The quote included my face, neck and touches of whatever else I needed (chemical peel around the eyes, etc.). I asked if there was anything else they would recommend which might cost more, but be worth it. Dr. Maki suggested an upper eye tuck (I forgot what it's called) to make the total $9,000.

That's what I did, and couldn't be happier! Dr. Maki truly approaches his procedures as an artist, not thinking separate charges for neck, face, etc. - he just looked at what I could benefit from and viewed it as one holistic process. The surgery was great - even had the greatest IV person in the world (I haven't had a lot of IVs, but had a bad experience or two). NEVER any pain! I was given a pain pill prescription, but never needed it, or even over the counter pills! Within a week after the surgery I was out and about, and, with my hear down, no one knew! I simply looked great - not bruised or "surprised," just relaxed and rested (and younger). Even people who had known me a long time sensed something, but never guessed a face lift! I'm referring all of my friends of my general age group (53) to him, if they express any desire to explore it.

In sum, a little under a month after the process (it's July 8 now), I think the results are OUTSTANDING and they're only going to get better as things settle down - I think there may be just a little bit of swelling, though you can't really tell.
