Day 6 post-op. Got my stitches removed and feeling fabulous!!!

I got my stitches out today. I am still a little sore and swollen. I was anxious to get my stitches out today. I decided to put on a little lipstick and eyeliner. I also styled my hair to hide the incisions. My neck still has those swollen bands and I can't look up at the sky.. I can't look up at all. The doctor said once the swelling goes down my mobility with my neck will get better over several weeks. I don't mind the tight feeling, but when I try to look up, I feel like my skin will tear. Insure hope this is better before Ingo back to work. My surgeon said that I am healing very fast and well. He thought I would be more swollen in the face. The first two photos with my hair pulled back shows my stitches removal. Huge difference then yesterday!!! The rest of the photos from today also shows how I am able to hide my incisions with a new hairstyle. I also put a little makeup on. I know my incisions haven't even start to heal much and the doctor said to be careful. I don't have to wear a chin strap or anything. ????????

Five days post-op.

The swelling and bruising is the worst today. I wonder if the dark lines from stitches are normal and the really dark bruises?

I lost 44 pounds last year and have maintained my weight. I eat healthy and exercise plus walk 3 miles a day. After losing a lot of weight, I ended up with a huge turkey neck. My face looked my age, but my neck looked 80! I completely lost any curvature to my neck as well. (see before photos). I decided to see a plastic surgeon and inquire about a neck lift. He recommended that I get a Macslift. I am 4 days post-operation and so far liking what I see. Although I have a ton of healing to do and still have my stitches, I noticed my results immediately. Deep lines in my face have diminished tremendously which was something I didn't even expect and I now have a nice curve to my neck line. My only concern is some band lines showing and also raised where the drainage tube was. Its only been four days, so I'm not freaking out over the drainage tube raised markings. My neck feels so tight and I cannot look up at the ceiling. It feels like I have electrical tape around my neck. I'm hoping that is normal and will subside some with healing. I want to add that after coming out of anesthesia, I have had a headache every day since surgery. I never suffered with headaches before. I will post updates as I heal. The photos are from before surgery, up until day 3 post-op.
