After contemplating a tummy tuck for the last 3 years. Finally did it. I am so happy with the results. Dr. Harold Beam of Glastonbury CT was excellent! He was caring and patient ( I called him alot after hours and he always called me back and was always understanding and helpful). I am Post op 2.5 weeks today. I am trying to resume normalcy. I took 3 weeks off work. But decided to add an extra week to make sure I am well enough to go back.
I had a large booty of skin in front. I wanted change. I am glad I did it. I feel more confident and got my sexy back. My swelling has subsided. Wearing my compression binder. Brought more Spanx to help when I return to work. I always wore Spanx anyways cause of my booty in the front. Not taking too many pain meds now. If anything ibuprofen when needed. Sleeping in my recliner still. Just feels good. I am going to attempt to sleep in bed tonight. 2 weeks post op I was feeling really good and went to Target and walked around for an hour. I think I pushed it to much. So just listen to your body. I drink two liters of water daily. And maintain a healthy diet.
My scar is beautiful. Just rubbing it with vase line and Keri lotion. Washing with Dove soap.
Watching my salt intake.
Eating alot of protein to promote healing.

Thanks for the encouragement. I also has an allergic reaction to percocets. So doctor change to Tylenol 3. And my drains started drying out and my body started rejecting them and I was in pain the day after christmas so I went to ER and had them removed. Instant relief.

I had my surgery on the 15 of Dec. so i think we are pretty much on the same journey. I have not uploaded any after pics or anything (too lazy i guess). i also took 3 weeks off (committed to some work events next week or I would've added another week like you. Overall I am healing well and feeling better each day. Good luck.
