Reviews you can trust, from real people like you.
How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

On being unsatisfied with the end result and having a revision
I've not posted here for a while as life has gotten in the way, but a quick catch up:
- I wasn't happy with the end result. My nose looked good for the first few weeks and points throughout my first rhinoplasty, but after the swelling had all subsided my nose began to go back to how it used to look.
- It took quite a long time for Mr Ray to agree to a revision, and a lot of hoops to jump through. This shouldn't have been the case as I hadn't been given what I paid for.
- I had my revision in October 2018 so my nose is still in the early stages of healing. When I first got my cast off there was a visable difference.
- The swelling has been really bad and I know it may take 2 years to see a result, hence my 'not sure' on this post, because I don't know what the end result will be as of yet.
One piece of advice for anyone considering rhinoplasty (whether that's in Scotland or worldwide), do not settle! Do your research. Be thorough. Be patient. Find the right surgeon for you. Use up your whole consultation slot. Don't let any surgeon push you out the door. They are being paid thousands for these procedures so make sure they are doing everything they should be. Make sure you ask every single question you have ever considered about a rhinoplasty.
Lastly, for anyone in the Glasgow area considering rhinoplasty, one surgeon I would recommend you book a consultation with is Awf Quaba. He is highly skilled in rhinoplasty, in fact he specalises in it. He was the first surgeon I saw but I opted to see other surgeons and this is where my decision took me. I have regrets about that.
I'll upload some photos of my journey so far with my revision.
Good luck to anyone looking to get surgery done.
