After suffering from a blow to the nose at the age of 13, a sharp bump had appeared on one side of my nose as I got older. It effected my confidence massively so I decided to go ahead with an open rhinoplasty. With such a short time frame between turning 18 and moving to university, Dr Marando managed to fit me in on the 11th September! Arriving on the day, I was well looked after by nurses and was made to feel comfortable and wasn't nervous at all! After surgery there was 0 pain and I felt completely fine half an hour after waking up! I was taken back up to my private room where I had pineapple juice and a meal waiting for me! The first night wasn't painful just uncomfortable. I left the hospital the next day and went home to recover over the next 5 days, the bruising around the eye area was noticeable but not too bad, and as I came to the end of my pain killers my face did start to ace, especially after eating. Overall my experience was calm and well worth all the discomfort for the results that I love!

My first consultation with Dr Marando , we discussed my issue I had with my nose and how I wanted to change it. He went on to advise me to see other surgeons but I decided not to as I was confident with Dr Marando. The second consultation he provided some simulations of my nose after surgery and I decided which one suited me best and that I liked! Dr Marando advised what changes he would make with me still looking like me! He told me how exactly the procedure would be done and that was it! We booked a date a couple days after.
