How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Gum Graft Has Failed Twice. Most Painful Thing.
I got my first gum graft done with my own tissue for the donor site in January. The graft was very thick across 4 front teeth.
The donor site hurt the most. So much throbbing pain for 9 days. The graft simply fell off when the stitches came out on day 14.
My 2nd graft appears to be failing also. This was an alloderm graft. Significantly less painful than the first, although just as irritating as my 4 front teeth throb constantly. I have followed post op instructions perfectly. My gum is very thin so this is the reason apparently it is failing.
If there is ANY alternative to this surgery, take it.
