Not As Bad As People Think

Hello!! I had my gum graft today ( 8 hours ago )
Honestly it went a lot better than what I thought it was going to. I watched all these videos and read up on all the sites about how it works ( scared myself )
Before the gum graft I got nitrous oxide ( highly recommend ) when I first got there I was very nervous, thinking of all the pain I was going to feel. As soon as the I started breathing in the laughing gas my fears all went away. I received about 3 shot on the bottom and 3 shots on top before we started didn’t even flinch though. I also listened to a pod cast while it was happening. I think that helped me and even laughed a couple times at the things that were being talked about on the pod cast. I lost track on time and it was done before I knew it. My mouth is deff sore, I’ve been icing it and have taken some pain meds. Overall if you need it I would get it and consider getting the laughing gas if you are really scared and not getting it done for that reason. If I needed it again I would get it done again without hesitation. I know day 2-3 are going to be the worst but it’s worth it.
