Giant Hard Jowels After Aqualyx

Rocket1234
I had one vial of aqualyx in my jowel area i am slim but had very slight stubborn fat pockets , however after aqualyx I now have very large hard square jowels. The swelling initially was terrible I had to hide in the house and take time off work ,
It has been three weeks since treatment so I’m presuming ehatbis happening now should no longer be swelling.
My provider says it’s unusual to swell this long and it’s probably a collected lump of fat cells before it’s absorbed by my body but this was not explained to me before the procedure and I’m freaking out it’s caused permanent damage. I’m 36 and now look 50 !
It feels like hard knots under my skin and my jowels are massively pronounced now ,
Iv cancelled all my social plans and have major anxiety about going back to work like this , Thanks for any suggestion or comments

Hi, sorry to hear this. I noticed you posted almost a month ago - do you have an update? I’ve read in some cases the lumpiness can last for up to 2 months…

Hi, it’s given me loose skin and a worse double Chin than before , I have a horrible complex now and they’re isn’t any treatment I can have at my age to resolve it other then a mini facelift. I wouldnt recommend this to anyone

Don’t panic. While it’s bad swelling it will go down - I’ve had it in my double chin twice (got one more to go) and I’d say it was 3 months by the time I really felt the area was “normal” again. About a month of visually obvious swelling, then I just looked rounded for the rest if the time and when I touched the area I could feel the hard lumps. Now I look normal again. For me it has barely made any difference, but it hasn’t left me with permanent swelling or anything.
