So I have wanted to get a nose job since 2008....
So I have wanted to get a nose job since 2008. Apart from the fact that it was huge I also wanted to get it done because it was the only feature people seemed to describe me with. The wonnabe bullies also teased me a lot with it.
Anyone after consulting with doctors in at least 4different countries I finally decided to do it with one doctor in the Czech when I was on holidays in Germany.
However weeks before the procedure I found out I was pregnant. I cancelled my appointment but unfortunately a few days after I miscarried.
I met a few doctors in Germany but for some reason I didn't do it.
I finally went back to my home country.
Now the real motivation. My wedding is in about two months so I figured I needed to do this quickly.I went to see the best doctors in the country and a date was scheduled... I did not inform my fiance till the day of the procedure cuz personally I was not ready to argue and didn't want to be discouraged.
So on 12th July 2017 I underwent rhinoplasty.

Time to Get it done
My big day is fast approaching hence I needed to do this fast and get over with it.
I tell my doctors,Dr Darko and Dr.Laing about the importance of doing this quickly and they seem to understand so after 5 consultations we finally fix a date.
I reported to the hospital the night before the procedure and informed to have my last meal at 8pm...which is not a problem. Rewind a bit...I told colleagues and friends I will be at hospital and every is feeling sad as if I'm going for a heart transplant. The attention felt good and I was not go to be the one to spoil this show of love by telling them it was just a rhinoplasty.
So back at the hospital. It's 11pm and I cannot put myself to sleep. Occasionally the voices in my head would tell me to make a run for it,but then I start hearing the voices of those who laughed at my nose and the thoughts of how beautiful I could look made me stay

Surgery Day
I woke up thinking that I dreamt I was in a hospital and about to get a nose job :-o
At about 7am the nurse comes in the prepare me for the procedure. Just I finished dressing up in my gown and head cap two doctors walk in to discuss finally what we are expecting to do. Again I inform him that I would like to remove the nasal hump,narrow my bridge,define the top of my nose and reduce my nostrils. I told him that with these done I expect to get a better profile. However he mentions that it might be unsafe to do alarplasty becuz my nostrils did not have enough support and might collapse. I was admittedly very shocked by this revelation. Never in my adventure of meeting many surgeons had I heard this theory. Anyway I'm desperate to get this done so I shrug and say o.k. but he adds that if during surf they realize it's possible without complications they would go ahead and do it.
My pictures are taken and head for the theatre.
I was terrified when I got there and again I thought of making a run for it. The Anesthetist came over to say hi and one other guy held my hand and took me to the theatre bed...
