I am 35 years old from Germany (so please be nice if my englisch isn't perfect, but feel free to ask if you don't understand me).
My dragon is about 16 years old and I neither dislike the dragon itself nor do I hate the size. Ist is simply that the tattoo is inked too deep and so the outlines looked washed out. I was never curious about it, but I liked it.
After a long time thinking about getting it removed/prepared for a cover up I found a doctor nearby who uses a Sinon Ruby laser. As my tattoo is quite large he decides to part it, so in each session I get 1/3rd of my dragon treated.
The first treatment was in December 17 with 4J/cm^2 and1,5Hz. It was only a bit reddish and itched only a bit. Directly after my treatment the doctor gave me large Cooling packs (filled with gel) and I sat therefor about 50 minutes before I went home to cool some more ;-)
Yesterday (17th of March 18) I had my 2nd treatment. this time he used 5J/cm^2, the cooling procedure was the same like last time. Today there are a couple of small blisters but no pain.
I hope to see a fast progress, although I prefer long periods of 12 Weeks between the sessions...

it is red and in some areas I have a lot of blisters.
On monday I wore compression pants below my normal pants and it was amazing - no blisters. But those filled up soon, after I took them off.
At the moment I try to soothe the swelling with "Bepanthen-Cream"

Thank you for sharing your story! I start my very large Removal next month. What laser are you using?

It is a Simon Ruby laser. In the first session we used 4J/cm^2 (1,5Hz) and in the second he increased the power to 5J/cm^2

I'm using Avene instead of bepanthen. Avene has no mineral oil in it and I've experienced better healing. I'm from Germany too. Is it possible that I've read your story on tattooscout? :)

Yeah, I am on Tattooscout, but I can´t upload my cellphone pictures there (too large)...
I had an Avene cream for my face once and it was literally FULL of silicone... but I´ll check that, thank you!
I also use the "Tattoomed L1" fluid in the first week, which I also like as it is not that heavy as Bepanthen

I use L1 as well! Yes, some things from avene are not so good. The lip balm has also mineral oil in it. I was surprised, because its really expensive though. But the repair cream seems to be ok and it makes a good job. But everybody is different and has to find out what works best:)

Not much to say about it. The swelling is gone.
Parts of the outlines start to get holes in it, parts of the shadows are gone. I wouldn't say it works really fast but it seems to work somehow...
