So Frustrated with This Company - Georgia

ORIGINAL POST

I've been dealing with ClearCorrect for a good two...

$5,500
I've been dealing with ClearCorrect for a good two years now in between having to wait months for them to finally get my first trays in, only for them to inform me that those trays wouldn't even do anything in terms of teeth movement. They were just a starter set to get me "used" to wearing them. Seriously? Do they really think people who are desperate to have smiles they're comfortable with want to first spend a month wearing a pointless starter set of trays?

Once I finally did get started with the actual treatment, there were numerous instances where my trays very obviously didn't fit properly, and I was told just to wear them anyway. Invisible braces aren't so invisible when there are giant gaps in between the end of the tray and your tooth. My treatment was supposed to last 15 weeks. Once those 15 weeks were up, my teeth were OBVIOUSLY not even close to straight yet. It would be one thing if my teeth simply moved in an unpredictable way, but just looking at my "last" set of trays, anyone would have told you that my teeth would not be straight after wearing them.

So my dentist took new molds and sent in a course correction. ClearCorrect sent back two new sets of trays that were supposed to completely straighten my teeth. Again, I looked at my new "last" set and could have told you right then and there that they did not represent a straight set of teeth. So now I'm going to have to go through the process again. It's like the company isn't even trying to get things right and is just hoping I'll give up out of frustration.

I am TIRED of wearing these inconvenient, uncomfortable trays all of the time. They make me gag. They're anything but undetectable; people ask me what's "wrong" with my teeth all of the time. There's no such thing as simply going out to eat. I have to run off to the bathroom to take out my aligners and then disappear again to rinse out my mouth and put them back in. It feels like half of my day is spent cleaning them and brushing my teeth since I have to do it almost every time I eat something. I'm pretty sure they're doing permanent damage to my teeth.

I should have gone with Invisalign.

Excuse me, I meant 15 months, not weeks. Just caught that!
