I’m not sure why it happened. There was a lot of tension after surgery. My butt crack grew from a couple centimeters to about 2-3 inches wide and was super raw immediately after surgery until finally my incisions ripped open. I never once had an infection.

CantrellHarp girl do not get implants! You will regret it. The way he does it makes them sag so quickly! And he’s also not good at recommending the right size!

I agree and applaud you @Annie1587 for your words, that comment was so unnecessary. I wouldn't care if she did pull a stitch anyone with eyes can see what she is going through is more than a pulled stitch. @jdgis I am wishing you the best I am sure what your going through is horrible but take it one day at a time and get better. There is nothing wrong with enhancing your body so don't doubt that. It is just unfortunate something obviously went wrong. Be confident in yourself and proactive in your recovery, you can get through this. Good luck.

Did the lift hurt? So I went to see him and now he is suggesting removal and lift which means more money but I'm not letting him do any more work on me..going to decide what to do and where to go

Good for you girl! Yes it hurts a lot just as bad if not more than getting the implants in. If you can remove your implants ASAP the longer they are in the more they will sag and stretch out your skin. I hope it all works out for you. Let me know :)

It looks like there was too much tension on the skin and so the sutures didn't hold.
Please make sure you get to another plastic surgeon and/or doctor and have everything documented and take a lot of photos. I'd suggest contacting a medical malpractice attorney and/or the medical board in Texas. There are certain things/complications that can be outside of a surgeon's control (delayed healing, sometimes infection, etc), but to have your initial implants look so bad and then to have the wound gaping open suggests to me that Dr Franco was negligent in his work. I'd think that you'd be entitled to a refund of all the money you paid him, compensation for all your other medical bills (ER, etc), and damages for the pain, suffering, and inconvenience his mistakes caused you and your family. Yes. I think it was because of too much tension. Before it opened my butt crack was so raw and painful and stretched to like 10 times it’s normal size! I feel the same way. Thank you for your advice.

Wow ! I like your opinion! Yes, I totally agree with you . It isn’t only one person he did this,there is more ! He is a bad Doctor . I got surgery with him and I wasn’t a good candidate for the surgery.

I just want to update and say. I NEVER pulled out or messed with a single suture of mine and neither did anyone caring for me. I did EVERYTHING Dr Franco recommended for me and if he didn’t I ran it by him first. I know that the opening of my incisions is not at all my fault and if Dr Franco or anyone in his office try to tell you that I pulled out my sutures that is 100% an absolute lie!!!!

My God Dr. Franco is terrible. when I mentioned canceling my surgery because of the amount of unsuccessful he has had he blamed the patients and the went on to brag about the many people who come to him. He is a scam and I hate this has happened to you. I will do my best to warn girls about him. I am hoping everything goes back to normal for you.s

It is really upsetting that he’s blaming his patients I did absolutely nothing wrong and I take great care of myself. Obviously I want the best for myself and would never do anything to cause this. We spend over an hour every day caring for my wound I eat very healthy, I was very careful, I never sat down once only hunched for a bowel movement, I’m hygienic, I make sure everything around me is clean and sanitary.
This is not on me and I can’t believe anyone could possibly trying to blame me it such a ridiculous joke. How could anyone in their right mind believe him on that?

So sorry this happened to you, I know this is an older post and I hope you got everything taking care of and feel 1000% better! I just scheduled a consultation with him and after reading your story I definatly will cancel and find another Doctor!

I scheduled a consultation for a bbl fat transfer. Would you recommend this being done by him? I’m not getting implants and I’m 24 with no kids. Should I be concerned?

Poor thing. I had a doctor in Australia mess me up bad. So I know how disappointing it is.
So many people get messed up by this doctor. Shouldn’t be doing butt augmentation when he clearly has no clue how to do it. Chin up things will get better x

Week 2 I started developing holes in my incision my husband could see entirely in my body. The holes got bigger and bigger and as of right now I have two large holes of just open flesh. It had been the most terrifying experience I’ve ever had. I don’t even want to post a picture because it’s horrifying and I can’t even bear to look at it. I’m trying so hard to stay strong right now and have faith that it will heal. I’m so disappointed in this set back. My mom has to come from out of state to take care of me and my children. I can’t do it and my husband is absolutely exhausted from working 50 hours a week, doing all the cooking and cleaning and caring for our little kids and helping me keep the area clean which is a tideous process. You think something like this would never happened to you, I take great care of myself and I can’t believe this is my body right now. I’ve kept Dr Franco updated every step of the way and he has guided us on how to care for everything and has advised us to order aquacel to help heal the open wound. It’s scheduled to arrive tomorrow and I’ve been waiting anxiously for it.
I went to the ER today and thank God it’s not infected but he told me I need to get with a wound specialist and have them do regular Home visits because it could easily go south. I called the one wound specialist in the are but they were closed today. Girls know that complications can happen to you. I have so many regrets with this procedure and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone ever.

I’m doing better thank you for asking. After all that time (almost 4 months since surgery) it finally closed. I’m still not allowed to work out or bend down too much because I’m still healing the skin is very thin and and actually just bled some yesterday. It’s very uncomfortable to sit down.

I’m very sorry your going through this. Having an incision in the creases is body can result in the sutures opening up, like in your case. Thankfully no infection, keep the wounds clean and I would seek a wound vac, those heal you up so fast. The earlier you get a wound vac on the better your outcome will be and results. I know you don’t want to post what it looks like now, but you keep a record to compare each week to, visual healing aid. Keep protein intake high along with pineapple and water , Powerade intake, you’ll heal faster. Keep good and bad sugars low as possible. Keep us posted.

Thank you for your advice. I’m doing all those things plus taking vitamins, probiotics and collagen to help with new tissue and skin growth.
I’ve talked to the specialist about a wound vac the problem is I have deep holes and he said we need to wait for those to close up first and then we can try a wound vac but he doesn’t know if we’d be able to get a good seal since it’s not a flat surface. Once my holes close we will try it though.

This is so sad smh ! I hate the fact that post complications had become a common thing with him . Continue to keep the area clean and keep pictures so you can see progression in the healing process . I feel your pain I’m so sorry girl .

Hey thanks for asking. My incision is still open on both sides. I can see that my body is trying to heal itself though. I’m doing better but I’m definitely still recovering. It’s been a month and I still can’t live a normal life. It sucks but I’m staying positive that it will heal up soon and it will all be behind me. Its just hard having to deal with open wounds and see deep holes and tunnels and open flesh on your own body.

Did the dr. ever say he would somehow close the open wound for you, or help in any way , this is terrible. He should be helping you
I did not have a pulled stitch. And I never got an infection. I know this happened to another patient of his as well and we both took great care of ourselves. Thank you so much for your prayers.
