I am so excited today is exactly a month away! I'm anxious and ready but I'm kind of nervous about going under anesthesia but, I'm trying not to think about it to much. I'm hoping to have way more projection and a more Shapley butt. I also would like bigger hips so that I can be more curvy. I'm really looking forward to have a smaller waist as well so hopefully he can suck all the fat out of my back and stomach.

Congratulations on your decision to enhance your body!!! I'm in the same boat as you. I'm nervous as hell about getting put to sleep. But I'm sooooo excited about the outcome. I can't wait to see that lol ... I'm down to a wake up lol. I promise u this date came so fast. I know I'm not getting no sleep tonight

I'm so excited for you! I had my butt implant with fat transfer surgery with Dr. Franco on April 14 and I'm loving my results. I was also very nervous about going under anesthesia, I was nervous I'd wake up during surgery or something, but I don't even remember going under the anesthesia, I don't remember anything. So don't worry, you'll be fine :)

I have the same fear of waking up during surgery lol I'm trying not to think about it. How do you feel is it really painful or just sore?
User Avatar
April 24, 2016
I actually did not feel any pain except for pressure on butt because of the implants and soreness where I had the lipo. The soreness the first night will be when it hurts the most, but I only had really bad soreness that first night and it wasn't soreness that wasn't tolerable. After that day, the soreness only kept reducing more and more. Right now I'm still a bit sore from the lipo when I touch the areas but it's hardly anything. Believe me before you know it, you'll be out of surgery and won't even remember going under anesthesia in need the first place.

Oh I forgot to mention, make sure you buy some stool softners before surgery, because odds are it'll be a bit difficult for you to go.

I hadn't thought about that... How do you deal with using the bathroom right now?
User Avatar

I've been squating. The first couple of times were hell, it was too much for my legs, but after like 4 or 5 days I got the hang of it. I noticed that it's way easier to squat the further apart you have your legs. So a stool softer will definitely help you from squatting forever lol

Thanks for the advice because I had no clue. Have you started using a bbl pillow yet?
User Avatar

No not yet, he said I could start after 2 weeks, which is tomorrow, but I'm scared to lose my fat :/ I'm going to see how long I can go without sitting. Do you know if he will be using drains with you?
User Avatar
April 27, 2016
I'm not sure but when I spoke with Kristin she said I wouldn't need any since I'm not getting a tummy tuck. I will know more on May 9th which is my pre op appt. Did he use drains on you?

The reason why I'm asking is because he usually puts drains for butt implants, (I know that's not what you're getting) but after surgery, he decided I didn't need them which was awesome because I didn't have to be walking around with drains hanging, but the first night was a mess. I was draining a lot and well I didn't have the little tubes to hold the drainage, so there was blood everywhere and my mom had to go buy those rectangle pampers that you put on the bed, so that I could lay down and I wouldn't stain the bed. It was only for that night, so it wasn't bad, but you should probably ask if you'll be draining just so that you have a heads up on what you'll need after your surgery.

Wow I surely will ask about drains I think Kirstin said since I don't actually live in Austin it would also be easier if I didn't get drains so that I won't have to make that drive back again. I'm only staying the night before and the night of my surgery and then after my post op appt in gonna be driven back to San Antonio.

lol how you you ride? I'm thinking in the front seat with the seat all the way back lol
User Avatar
April 28, 2016
Noo don't do that, it's best to lay in the back seat with your legs up cause you probably won't fit completely just laying down lol

My mom did a really good job making it comfy by putting blankets and a pillow for me

I'm tall lol when I say in the front seat I do mean laying on my stomach of course lol
User Avatar

Lol oh okay, well I guess you can try it but since the seat is going to be at an angle, you might feel a bit uncomfortable.

Does he do the butt and tummy tuck at the same time?

you really look great! I surprised that you are up and taking photos. what was the foam pad for? do you think it helped with shaping you? I am scheduled to have a tummy tuck and a BBL in July my butt is very flat and hope to get projection. My Dr. does not recommend a faja right after surgery, states that it suppresses blood flow, but I think I want one right after I see everyone using one, what kind did you buy and what position are you sleeping? please keep me posted I would love to see your progress. I'm pretty nervous.

My faja came with my surgery it Veronique xxl idk where they got it from. The foam is helping the fluid not build up in the back where I had a fat pad. I lay on my stomach only because I had fat grafted to my hips as well. I woke up with my garment on it is really helpful but I would think it would be extremely painful getting it on right after surgery.

thank you for replying. Are you still very swollen? Do you think that getting up and walking a little bit has helped you feel better sooner? it looks like you results are going to be awesome, I can see that already. hope you keep me updated.

Walking does help me to not be so stiff. Laying only on my stomach is so uncomfortable I can't wait until I can at least lay on my side. But thanks I hope my results are everything I wanted

May 9th is my pre op and I'm really hoping that he is able to achieve the look that I'm going for. I'm really scared he won't be able to suck all of the fat out to shape me the way I want.

Yesterday was my pre op appt and my mind totally went blank; I forgot all of the questions I was supposed to ask. My coordinator Kristin is great she answered all the questions I remembered after I actually spoke with Dr. Franco. I'm super excited and just ready to get it done.
