How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Uncertain results
Rf micro wasn't a game changer. I suppose 4-5 treatments may have yielded significant results. At $1250 a treatment however, I expect predictable results. Finally, opted for subcision with fat filler which gave significant results.

20 years of refractory moderate acne with the scarring to prove it. Over the past few years, I've done regular microneedling, peels, hydroquinone, retinoids, and boatloads of serums. I believe my skin did improve with these tools, in terms of softer scars and less PIE/PIH. My skin's improvement, however, has plateaued.
After researching lasers and energy devices, I opted for Lutronic Genius RF microneedling. Performed last week. Procedure pain was tolerable with topical analgesic and inhaled nitrous oxide. I don't know if I would have made it without both of these. It was surprisingly painful.
Procedure performed in dermatology office by nurse with standard Genius settings and protocols. Aftercare is applying Alastin nectar, emollients and sunscreen only.
I'm excited and eager to see how my skin changes in the upcoming weeks and months.
