Almost at 4 month post-revision

As you can see things still look very similar to what they have the past couple months, and even to the before. Still really hard for me to see a difference, personally, so at this point I sort of question what was even done during the revision. I'm holding out hope that there's still swelling/scar tissue, but I know from last time that the changes after the 2.5 month mark were pretty minimal.

2 Months Post Revision

Some progress pics. I'm still unsure what to think of my results at this point. My chin still seems very large and round to me, and it's hard for me to see any difference compared to before the revision. Some days at some angles things seem somewhat improved but as you can see from my wish pic I'm still nowhere close to what I was hoping to achieve getting the bone shaved down further. Feeling pretty bummed right now :(

3 Weeks Post Revision

I had a revision 3 weeks ago to remove the plate/screws in my chin and shave down the step-offs that were bothering me. The swelling didn't get as bad as it did the first time around, though I can tell I'm still a bit swollen, which doesn't surprise me considering how long the process took last time. The center my of my chin is still numb and I can't smile with my teeth without looking like I'm grimacing but I know that's all par for the course.

I am a bit concerned because I still have some kind of bumps where the bone was supposed to be shaved, which makes it look like nothing really changed at all. Pardon the weird angles on the photos lol, but you can see when I pull the skin taught the bump seems to have a defined border, or like there's a gap between whatever it is and the rest of the jaw line. It's especially present on the right side which is the side the step off was the worst. I'm hopeful this is just part of the healing process and will go away, but admittedly it does worry me that I possibly just went through all that for nothing? Just have to be patient, I suppose.
