Unprofessional clinic, don't deliver on their promises

I recently had gastric sleeve surgery at Estherian Clinic in Istanbul, Turkey, and I have to say, it was one of the worst experiences I've had with a medical facility. The coordination was non-existent - I was never assigned a coordinator, and I had to constantly call the business development manager and translator just to figure out what was going on. To make matters worse, I was promised a medical bag containing essential items like pain medicine, blood thinners, protein shakes, and vitamins, but when I was discharged from the hospital, I was taken to a pharmacy and forced to pay for everything out of pocket. When I confronted the business development manager about this, she told me that her manager declined to include the medical bag as part of the package, even though it was agreed upon.

To add insult to injury, Estherian Clinic misled me about their gastric sleeve surgeons. They don't have any gastric sleeve surgeons on staff - instead, they use a surgeon from a local government hospital. While the surgeon was experienced and performed the surgery well, Estherian Clinic falsely advertised that they had an entire floor dedicated to gastric sleeve patients. In reality, they have a small section on the fifth floor for hair transplants and cosmetic treatments, and for gastric sleeve patients, they put you on the seventh floor of a general hospital where almost no one spoke English and there were no English TV channels.

In conclusion, I would not recommend Estherian Clinic for gastric sleeve surgery. They are unprofessional, don't deliver on their promises, and mislead their clients. You're better off going to a different facility.
