Gastric Balloon
I had a bad relationship with food and have struggled to lose weight. One day I decided to change my life by choosing to go with a gastric balloon. This was the first time I have used Elanic Clinic. I had my 6-month Orbea 365 balloon fitted 2nd February 2022.
The first week was a bit of a battle for me as my body adjusted to the balloon. I had vomiting along with a small pain in my stomach. Thankfully, I did have medications provided from Ross Hall to help with this. After around 5 days of the first week the side effects slowed down and by day 7 the vomiting had stopped and was able to return to work after 1 week.
Elanic Clinic was excellent from the start. The reception girls were absolutely lovely, and THE rest of the staff were polite, friendly, professional and took time to explain procedures clearly and transparently. My appointment itself went smoothly and I was made to feel comfortable throughout. I left feeling like I'd been treated like an individual. Thanks to dr Hasan Kasem.
