One month after smartlipo

I'm recovering well. I still have some soreness, but I returned to work last week and it was fine. My lymphatic drainage massages are helping a lot. I have seen a dramatic change in the swelling since I started getting. The massage therapist told me not to use the abdominal boards and to take vitamin C. I still have some really hard areas, but they are supposed to resolve themselves with continued massages. It's a lot of effort to achieve the desired results. I have to make a follow-up appt with Dr. Andan in two weeks. I wear a size small in the compression garments but I might need an extra small soon. I am starting to exercise today. I got a simply fit board. It looks like fun. I will update this again when I have time.

Regrets After Smartlipo 360
I wish that I could go back and not have this surgery. I had thought that all smartlipo lasers were the same. I was completely wrong. Some say that recovery is very short, but mine is still very painful. I wish that I never had this surgery. I don't think it was worth it.

The pain will eventually go away. I Lnkwnright now it seems like a long time, but it will. Do you at least like your results so far?

Thank you. I hope so, because I have to go back to work next week. I like the results, but I have a few hard little areas. The lymphatic massage therapist said that it can go away, but it will take time and lots of massaging of those areas.

Aw, hope you feel better! After 2 weeks I was working out again! Get a tighter compression garment. That really helped me with the pain. Also cortisone cream helped me tremendously!! I hope you feel better!! I went to Dr Andan too but pain is relative. What could be easy for some can be torture for others.

Thank you. He said that it is because he removed a lot of fat from me, so the recovery may be a little longer. Thanks for the advice. The lymphatic drainage massage is helping and the boards. I am retaining lots of fluid.

Same here, my flanks are like hard rocks. Right now I'm in the itchy, burning, hard stage and I swell up late in the day. It's uncomfortable but not overly painful. My flanks are what bothers me the most, they are so hard! I'm nearly 4 weeks post, no where near my goal look but I can see tons of progress. You will start to see it too!!

My body was very hard in some areas, but I got a package of 10 lymphatic drainage massages and it is helping me so much. I go 3x a week. I'm going to buy another package though so that the fluid doesn't harden.

Hi, we actually live in the same area. i am just curious why you chose this surgeon and if you would go back to him. Do you still have regrets about your surgery?

Lymphatic Drainage Massage after Smartlipo 360
I had a lymphatic drainage massage today, 13 days after my Smartlipo 360 surgery. It was uncomfortable and painful, but I think that it is going to help. I have some lumpy areas and I was worried that they could be permanent. But the therapist said that frequent massages for lymphatic drainage will help get rid of the excess fluids that are causing the lumps. I bought a package of 10 massages, which I am hoping will help.
