Breast & Short Chin Fat Transfer in Korea

UPDATED FROM Gracec
Day of treatment

Day of op!

$3,500
I wrote a detailed review before but lost it so in lieu of being too tired to rewrite the whole thing, here is a summarized version. Feel free to ask any questions

The day has finally arrived. I flew in to Seoul at 8.20am and the surgery was scheduled for 2pm. They gave me an extra hour to take pictures (I will receive them later) and to answer a whole bunch of questions I had. I was a nervous wreck but the fact that they treated it like nothing helped.

I had a Korean friend meet me and that was a godsend. I recommend if I are coming alone, go to a clinic that has English translators. At Yonsei only the surgeon speaks abit of English but I highly recommend him!

The procedure was fat transfer from thigh to breasts (240cc each breast) and lipo from abdomen and love handles to chin and face. I never thought i would consider doing my face but I am VERY pleased with the result. He filled in hollows and I already look less tired. I hope this remains after the swelling goes down.

Walking was a nightmare at the start but I had a couple hours to recover in the healing room and I constantly kept moving my legs and keeping them elevated at my head height. I recommend not lying in bed all day but getting up to walk. By night time I am feeling 1000x better.

I got KRW$100k discount by paying in cash full. Pricing includes a custom made compression suit ($100k) and medication ($35k). Also I get one free massage or facial.

Total is KRW$3,973,000 = USD$3,424

I will post photos in the coming week

Any updates?
If you could post before and after pictures, it would be very helpful. Thank you!
Hi. I hope you are recovering good. Can you update your results? Thx
I have replied above :)
So what happened?
Hi sorry for no updates. I have been extremely busy and caught up over the last year! The swelling went down so the size appears less. I would say that ultimately to get the size I really want I would go for a "top up" to build on to the now existing size but overall I'm still very happy with my result. I was a small size A before. Now I'm between a big A and small b, but I do attribute that to the shape of my breasts as they are more tear dropped shaped and spread out at the bottom naturally. The one thing that has been very evident is that when I am wearing dresses or tops with support, they look HUGE all pushed together! Unfortunately the scars don't seem to be fading too much but I haven't been very good with maintaining that. I've put back all the fat that we're lipo-ed out so maybe I would even consider another procedure in the near future. I reckon that would give me a big B-C size. I have no regrets even though at the time it was very hard to deal with the recovery and being in a foreign place. The memory of the pain fades and the results, I get to carry on with me to present day. If this is something you have been considering to do for a long time then I encourage you to do your good research but don't overthink it for too long as you could psych yourself out. Good luck!
Sorry there are no pictures but pretty much, the breasts have a noticeable improvement in size although don't expect too much with fat transfer as compared to getting implants. In order for the procedure to be safe with no fat clumps, only a certain amount of fat can be transferred so to reach a much larger size, the recommended step is to do a "top up" a year later once the fats have settled. All the fat that was sucked out from my thighs and abdomen have returned lol. To maintain the shape after surgery, I recommend keeping a healthy lifestyle
which clinic did you go?
ORIGINAL POST

After reading a fellow member's review about fat...

After reading a fellow member's review about fat transfer in Korea, I decided to book in with the same surgeon at Yonsei Vera clinic.

I have a small A cup size that doesn't fill out and after years of juggling with the idea, the reviews on this page has really given me the support and confidence I needed to go ahead with the surgery. On top of the breast fat transfer I have also decided to get fat transfer to my chin which is short. Initially I wanted to get an implant but the Doctor recommended fat transfer as well for this procedure and advised that the effect will be more permanent than using fillers and more natural than using an implant.

Liposuction from my belly will be performed to transfer fat to my chin.

Let's hope all goes well!

Hi gracec. Do you know hows your fellow breast now ? I thought already 1 year after operation but they dont update again about their size. Like jp manager or her friends .is it change or still same size? Please let me know cause i interesting to do it also at yonsen vera clinic.
I cant find web in english all in korea. How can you contact them
Thanks b4 for your information
Hi, fat retainment apparently is between 40-60%. I was told that they can only put 200-250cc of fat in each breast as this is considered the safest amount. Anything after that can cause lymphoma or have other side effects. He mentioned that after a year if I wanted to I could go back and redo it to build on top of the existing size. What I did was to call the clinic directly and ask to talk to dr Yoon as he is the only one who can speak English. Then we communicated over email
Can you give me his mail.? Iwould like to do that procedure too. Thankyou very much for your kindness
ysvera@naver.com That's his email but from experience they are not very good at staying in touch by email unless u actually call them at the clinic first then email straight after.

The phone number is on the Korean website. Good luck!
Hi, which doctor you book? Your's seems the most reasonably priced so far. I really want the same procedures but everything is so expensive.
Hi I'm using Dr Yoon from Yonsei vera clinic in the Gangnam district in Seoul. I had my Korean friend screen all the reviews done by locals and he said that he is very good.
By the way I am quoting in USD
Thank you! I googled the Yonsei vera clinic and ended up here http://www.healthtourkorea.com/procedure/beautytour/

Is that the right one? The procedures seem much more expensive...is it just more expensive for foreigners? Also, how long did you have to stay in Korea for checkups after the operation? Thank you, you are so helpful! :)
Yep that is the clinic. I have not had the operation yet which is booked for June 9th. I went in to talk to them as I was in Seoul for a holiday (I'm not a local too) and the prices they gave were reduced as they have promotions. I guess the key is to talk to them and ask for special pricing as there is so much competition in Korea with plastic surgery that they are always willing to compromise with pricing. You can also mention that you have received a quote from another patient from their clinic so they are able to match the price. The doctor told me that a minimum of 7 days is required after surgery but an average of 10 days is recommended so I will be there for just under two weeks :)
Wow price matching, that is great:) I might book one at the end of the year if I don't chicken out hahaha I hope your procedure goes well! Thanks so much for all the info:)
How many ultrasound treatments were included in the price?
