Neck Lift, Lower Face Life and Upper Eyelid - Orange County, CA

I am a 63 yr old female, and had a neck and lower face lift, as well as upper eyelid surgery six days ago. This was all performed under oral sedation and local injections - no general anesthesia which was important to me. I was well prepared for the procedure from my consultation with Dr Sadati, and additional information and support from his wonderful staff (Kaye, Janet, Maria, and Jessica) - what a great team! The two main reasons that I choose this practice was the honesty and compassion that I felt from the start from the office team, and the fact that I could have my surgery done without general anesthesia. During the procedure I was vaguely aware that "something" was going on, but never was I in pain nor did I ever feel distressed. I returned home around 2pm the day of my procedure and went immediately to nap until around 5 at which time I came downstairs to watch some tv with my husband. Everything was still very numb, and I felt a little woozy but was not in any pain. At 10, I took my meds, propped up my pillows for elevated sleep and that I did until 6am the following day. As each day has progressed, the numbness is wearing off and now I mainly feel where the tendons/muscles have been tightened - still no pain. Though I have a way to go before realizing the full effect of the procedure, I can already see good results in this short time. After years of contemplation, I am so pleased that I decided to do this for myself!
