For as long as I can remember, I have always had a double chin to some degree - whether skinny or chubby. As I have gained some weight due to some hormonal, it only got worse and killed my self esteem. After battling low self esteem for a few years, I finally decided I had to do it. I recently moved and found Dr. Sadove on Real Self. I saw his work and noticed he was also a specialist in facial surgery, which pretty much sold me since it's my face and I want it done right with great skill. When I met with him, he was very honest with me and telling me what needed to be done, which I appreciated it. He was not trying to up sell me on extra procedures either, which other doctors I've spoke to have tried, and turned me off. So I scheduled my surgery and paid my deposit and waited a month until my surgery. The day of surgery came and everything went smoothly and I could not have been more in awe of my results, even immediately they were jaw dropping. I finally had a jaw line and it was beautiful. I am still currently recovering and have some bruising and swelling, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and cannot wait to gain my self confidence back as things settle into my new normal!

Update
Mommy4310May 27, 2017
Sorry, it's been a while since I have been on here... but I wanted to update my results!! I'm pleased with them. It's a million miles from what it was before. I feel more confident with myself now and feel like I look like myself once again. I healed fairly easily... I bruised a lot in the beginning and swelled for a few weeks. But once that all died down, the results that came through were awesome!

You look fabulous. How long did you have to wear the compression strap?

Thank you!! :) I wore it 24/7 for about 2 weeks, except if I had to run my kids to school, and then at night for 4 more weeks after that. I had to wash it a lot bc it kept making my neck break out though, so just be aware to wash it often. I also have sensitive skin, so that may have not helped me out much either.

I've had some requests for scar pics
Mommy4310May 28, 2017
Thought I'd share my pic of my scar under my chin. Its an itty bitty bump. It's barely noticeable and keeps shrinking. I also have 2 by my ears, but they disappeared and I couldn't tell you where they are now! Not complaining. :)

Hi! Jacksonville girl here. Just wondering if you were put under full anesthesia for this procedure...
