It's been a while, I have just been healing and catching up on housework I couldn't do for like 6 weeks. I am healing well.. I use cocoa butter and Resinall K and all looks good. I still think I am too big, I wanted to be B cup, but I am a 36C. I just wanted to update you all. I am very happy with my decision to get a reduction, and I hope they get a bit smaller(without losing perkiness) Good luck to those considering this surgery, it is definitely a decision I wish I had made years ago.

Wow your results look great! I know you wanted to be smaller but they look beautiful! Nice shape and size and your scars have already faded nicely! :)

Thanks so much. I am happier for sure. I know I still have time for them to go down a bit too.

That is exactly the same concern I am having because I am DD38, but want to be 38B not C cup. My plastic surgeon is more concern with keeping them round than what size I want them to become when I go through with this surgery. I would rather them be small than round and proportional. I know if I should bother going. through with this Breast reduction surgery if that isn't gonna be achieved.

I don't know if I should see a different plastic surgeon or not have ther surgery at all.

Wow the look great! I have noticed most patients get great results with the glue as far as scarring. I will ask for that also.

Post Op Day part 2

apples22976
I have to say. This has been the best day since this all started. I didn't see my PS today, but saw his assistant, who took of the dreaded Ace Bandage. I was able to see the girls fully for the first time. She said they are healing beautifully, they are nice and soft, and cleared me for showers and ibuprofen and herbal supplements! Now I just have to keep them clean and dry for 2 weeks until they take out the undissolvable stitches on the 20th. After seeing her, I went to my holistic doctor, who made me feel even better. He did some acupressure and massage and gave me some herbal pain relief which is working wonderfully. I really recommend that anyone who is going through such a major deal get an acupuncturist or holistic doctor to provide care for you. I saw his partner the night before the surgery and it did wonders for me the day of. I feel great. I know they look rough, a rainbow of bruises.. but they are coming along nicely. I can't complain.
This picture is pre-shower. But let me tell you, it was the best shower ever! Right up there with the one I took during labor with my son. Very cleansing. I got some all natural Shea Butter soap from the Fresh Market. So.. I can't use anything on the incisions yet... because of the glue. Hoping for a great recovery!

Hi. Happy you are feeling much better. What do you use to ease the itchiness? How is your sleep?

I was having my hubby scratch my back. Do you mean on the incisions?

Do you know how much they removed from each breast? I have to have 750 grams removed to meet insurance requirements and I'm worried I will end up with an a cup.

Hey Tess.. I only had 275 and 281 removed... which I think wasn't enough! =) Still happy but still feel too big.

Post Op Day

I finally get out of the Ace today, and get to take a real shower! I also get to go see my acupuncturist so I am thinking I will get some relief today. I think yesterday has been my worst day pain wise. I think I turned my torso funny while sleeping and my right breast was really hurting all day. Trying to take it easy is NOT easy. I took the last pain pill I plan to take on Sunday night. I still have some, so the jury is still out on that. I have caught a couple glimpses as the ace has been falling off, but I will actually get an unrushed clean look today. I am nervous. Hope all goes well. I have been feeling generally weak and nauseated. Hope this gets better soon. I will post pictures without ace soon. Be well all my co- reducers. Peace.
