Absolutely the best experience I have had with a doctor. Really calm demeanor, intelligent and unmatched talent (so far in my experience).
I got liposuction of upper abdomen, thighs: inner, outer, back butt ledge banana roll, arms, and chin. I guess that's a significant amount! He split the surgeries over 2 days as to not overwhelm the body. My results are basically entirely symmetrical, of course there's always a little difference but it's not noticeable to others (believe me, I have asked my mom and sister multiple times if they notice a difference many many times). I healed really well, incision marks very small, they were very attentive pre-op and post-op, a really great team that made me feel comfortable and the surgery was done in their own facility.
I had a breast reduction done 1.5 yrs ago and some liposuction of the flank area with a different doctor in town, and Dr. Gaines and office are just way better. It's not that I'm entirely displeased with my other results, it's just that I asked for some different tweaks with the reduction and the doctor didn't do what I asked because of her own perception-- I wholly and completely get that she is doing her job and know proportions etc., but that doesn't mean I'm ok with it.
ANYWAY, back to Dr. Gaines; I went in with questions and concerns and he was great with answers and, in relation to the story above, he said that he would be willing to operate and fix it to what I wanted. And I assume if what I wanted was way too out there he would have at least given me a compromise of options instead of going ahead w/o asking if I was okay with it. Post-op day of surgery he called and asked about how I felt and I went in 5 days later for stitches removal. (I personally heal better with actual stitches and not the dissolvable ones.) Prescriptions filled easily.
The office staff is great, and at least for me I was somewhat timid about saying the word "liposuction" and asking about it. But they made me feel 100% comfortable.
I don't have pictures because I don't really take or like pictures, but I feel amazing with my results. Especially my arms. And when living in Florida that is an important thing to feel confident with.
Since the surgery I have felt better about wearing exercise clothes so I am not afraid to workout anymore and have lost some weight and I have retained the results from the procedure(s).
So, that was a lot of words and information, but overall if you're looking for a surgeon in town Dr. Gaines is the BEST way to go.

How long did it take for you to start seeing results? I'm kind of wondering since I had my arms/waist/hip done 2 weeks ago and my outer/inner thigh 3 weeks ago! Thanks!

I would say that it was around 2 months. Wearing the girdle kind of skews things because of the compression so definitely wait for judging. I had mine done in mid-late July also over 2 days, and I would say that by the end of August I think is when began to sense what results would be especially in the arms and waist. 2 months was at least when I think I fully saw realistic results and felt comfortable to forgo the girdle for casual situations. Some of the areas still felt hard-ish for about 2.5 months but it's been about 5 months and I definitely see the full results.
I hope this helps a little!
