Two days post op
Still feeling very weak, but wanted everyone to know I am doing okay and getting better constantly! Hopefully in a few days I can post more about my actual experience which was great, the doctor anyways. Completely perfect. Felt some sickness and a lot a lot of pain but that all comes with the territory. I had absolutely no hips and was a big square with huge waist. So I truly didn't except what I even got, I swelling is crazy now. But if I retain 70% of this look ill feel very blessed!

Thanks babe! It has been super hard today I had a freak out panic attack, hadn't eaten enough was very upset. But ate more and am doing much better now. Still a lot of pain and discomfort can't wait for them drains to go! Thanks you know how I feel about your shape ;)

Less than a week to go
I am almost there! Feeling pretty prepared, all done with my shopping. Have gained a good amount of weight I am fluctuating between 145-147 now. My stomach has grown some cellulite which is a bit scary lol. I never have that unless I am over weight so hopefully it goes away after surgery when I drop a couple pounds.
I have been blessed with two surgery "sisters". One when I first started this journey who helped me immensely. I chatted with her for dozens of messages and she really helped me so much. The second is my darling friend who is getting surgery from Dr. miami also, but the day after me. We started talking when we realized our dates were so close and we just clicked. If you can find someone who is getting surgery near your date and better yet at your doctor, please make friends. It has been the best part of this journey. Sharing it with a lifelong friend now :)
I know that Dr Miami doesn't reccomend massages, but most girls I know with great results get them. I think he just can't reccomend them due to a liability issue. However I did my research and will be seeing Marian at Medical Massage professionals. I am booked for 7 with these ladies. And hope to find a few more when I get home.
I cooked about 12 different frozen soups and froze them. I also purchased a lot of non perishable stuff at a local grocery store. Cereal, oatmeal, coconut water, pineapple juice etc. plan on bringing this to Miami in my car as I am driving down. Then will finish purchases at Whole Foods the night before surgery. Want to stock up on juices, fruit, prepared foods etc!
This surgery is very expensive ladies just FYI anyone planning this. Don't think the price of surgery is it. You need to get to the surgery city, and then stay for 7-14 days. Food, supplies, massages, fajas, time off it all adds up. This surgery is surely costing me 10k easy.
Anyways I will be in Miami this Sunday. I might post a definite list of everything I'm bringing down this weekend , but I don't know yet.

ITS ALMOST YOUR TIME! you're going to be soooooooooooooooo happy I promise! you're in absolutely good hands! I cant wait to see your results. by the way, do not be frightened when you wake up after surgery laying on your butt, its normal and nothing will happen. and the nurse is going to make you sit on your boppy pillow. also, bring lots of Gatorade, youre going to feel like passing out everytime you get up! other than that its a piece of cake I promise, good luck hun! let me know if you have any questions.

Massage professionals truly know what they're doing. And from my research dolls who don't get massages end up very lumpy or with a seroma. It is a personal choice though and you should really think it out. Also the first couple days have been hell and travel to the massage was almost
Unbearable. But even with the drains Marian was able to get a good bit out of me. I know they're very booked for December so if it's something you're considering I would message them. They reccomended you come the day after surgery but that wasn't possible due to the Dr Miami nurse comes to check on you that day and for me pain wise I couldn't manage it. Also if you're staying very far from the massaGes it may be too hard for you to get there every day. All personal! Good luck mama
