10 MONTH UPDATE

I'm about 10 months post op and I can still say this was the best decision of my life. Even with wearing the garment for only 1 month I do believed I maintained my results the only problem is I got fat!! I store all my fat around my butt hips thighs and waist and it really hides the results. I have lipo booked a month from now.

I'm a great example for this surgery because most girls who have this done have dramatic hips or implants that don't show how this technique looks on more 'natural' body

My main recommendations for this surgery would be don't do it in the US, again I only paid $3000 in Tijuana, wear a spandex type dress or garment underneath your waist trainer or corset to protect your skin, and consider getting lipo to really appreciate your full results. I avoided lipo because fibrosis and scars but I trust my surgeon!

Also, consider the new 'riboss' technique that uses titanium plates to hold the ribs in place. Although, do research because it's a foreign material in your body vs the regular technique which doesn't involve any materials being placed in your ribs
Also use a corset!!! Not waist trainer!! I love the brand truecorset. If your corset is too loose use foams or pads but seriously don't use a waist trainer it's uncomfortable and not breathable

6 month update

i’m officially 6 months out from my rib sculpting and overall i feel good about where i’m at. i only wore the corset for about 4 weeks, but my results have stayed consistent since then. my waist shape looks the same as those early healing months, i'm just fatter lol, which makes me happy because it means everything “stuck” even without long corset use.

the first month came with some pain, but after week 4 it really calmed down. now i don’t deal with any daily discomfort. every once in a while i’ll get a little burning sensation on my left rib, but it’s temporary and doesn’t bother me much.

clothes definitely fit tighter in my waist, i have a deeper back arch, and i feel more confident in form-fitting dresses. recovery was easier than i thought it would be and i don’t feel restricted with breathing or movement at all.

overall, i’m really pleased with the outcome so far. i feel more sculpted, feminine, and comfortable in my body. i’m glad i went through with it!! even though i only lost 2-3 inches id easily do it again. totally worth it!!
