I had been thinking about having a facelift, brow lift and upper eyelid surgery for a very long time but was too afraid to do anything about it. I would look into the mirror almost every morning and night gently pulling back the skin on my face and neck, wishing I could look like that again. Then, in February everything started to fall into place. I had a consultation with Dr. Robert Wald and immediately felt comfortable and ready to schedule. It's been 8 weeks now and I do look like the woman in the mirror! The bests part is that none of my friends commented that I looked different. (I didn't tell them what I was doing and managed not to see them for 4 weeks.) That may seem odd; to have gone through this and not want anyone to notice but this surgery was very personal for me. I didn't do it for my friends or even my family, I did it for me. I look at my before and after pictures and am amazed at the change but I really do still look like me. (Well, me about 10 years ago!) I will always be grateful to Dr. Wald for all he did for me. He was kind and caring, he explained everything and he and his staff were very supportive while I was healing. Most of all, Dr. Wald is an exceptional surgeon and I feel very fortunate that I chose him to perform this very important surgery.

Finding the right doctor was my greatest concern because I knew he or she would be the key to getting the best result. Dr. Wald is both professional and personable.
