Saw the same lady with the q-switch laser. She blasted the shit out of my tattoo using a PFD patch, then went over it again without the patch. Most painful visit yet for sure because we both wanted it to be the last. However, it’s been 3 weeks that I’m writing this and I don’t see much fading. I will have to give it more time to let more of the ink fade- that’s what I did last time. My last visit was November 2018 and over the months and months of waiting it faded more and more. I think if it doesn’t fade as much as I want it to, that I will use the enlighten laser when I go back home in December.
People don’t even know what it is when they look at it. I’m asked if it’s a bruise a lot, or a birthmark. I guess that is good but I just want it to not be noticeable at all!

4th treatment
So I had prepaid for the fourth treatment, but I didn’t have enough $ to cover the PFD patch (I got a cat and she is more important) The doctor was nice and used some of the patch on the lower half of the tattoo, so we can see the difference it makes. I don’t see much of a difference between this treatment and my third one, or between the upper and lower half of my tattoo, and it’s ten weeks healed that I’m writing this. Maybe it’s just me. Anyway I will be back in Cali for a month over winter break and I’ve considered buying another treatment with the enlighten instead of having a PFD patch session here. Still unsure

Awesome result! How long had you had the tattoo before you decided you wanted to remove it?

I had the tattoo for 8 months before my first session, I wanted to remove it after having it two months.

That's some encouraging results! I'm going to start Enlighten soon, but with no PFD patch (I don't think it's done in Australia). Had one tattoo almost 2 years and the other just over a year. My ink is a lot more dense than yours but hopefully I can still achieve full clearance.

That’s great! Please take pictures and show your results I’m curious about other people’s experience with enlighten! My first session was with enlighten but the rest were with a medlite c6. I may get an enlighten treatment in December if I save enough $

I had awesome results even with one enlighten treatment and 6 months of fading after. It takes a lot of ink out at first but I’m not sure of its effectiveness later on in treatments

I used the PFD patch- pictures speak for themselves!
