full wrist tattoo removal Cutera Enlighten
WORTH IT$250
So I have my first laser removal session tomorrow! I had a consult a month ago and was quoted about $250 per session with an estimate of between 3-6 sessions. I've been heavily thinking about it and decided to start now! The doctor said they aren't going to make any full removal promises because they can never know for sure if that's possible until trying, but this laser seems very promising. Plus, from the looks of it I have good prospects of full removal due to being fair skinned and the tattoo being in only black ink. The cons about my tattoo are that it's fresh (8 months) and on my wrist, so since it is further from the heart the process of the ink fading will take longer; tattoos closer to the heart come off easier.
I got my tattoo as an impulse decision, and in the time I've had it I realized I'm not a tattoo person and miss my body being blank. I had just ended a relationship with an ex who hated tattoos so of course the thought of finally being "free" made me decide it was a good decision, and I had always thought they were cool and wanted a leaf for a couple of years. The leaf was supposed to be a symbol to take care of myself but I feel like since getting it, not because of the tattoo itself, I haven't been successful in that. So, since it's not doing me any good there is no point. Along with this I am also in college and plan to be a nurse, and I feel like having a tattoo right on my wrist like that is unprofessional. I've been researching laser removal for the last 6 months so I'm really hoping this will work out!

Day of treatment
Day 1 post treatment
Okay so the process was very quick and fairly painless. The laser does feel like hot bacon grease but that was expected and I have a decent pain tolerance. Plus, this takes much less time as opposed to actually getting a tattoo. I removed the bandage the spa put on my wrist, washed it with soap and water, and applied aquaphor to it before applying fresh gauze. The area is a bit tender as expected since this just happened today , but otherwise I was extremely satisfied when I peeked a look! I already see a significant amount of ink has faded, I can't wait to see the results in a few weeks once it's healed more. My next appointment is on January 3rd!

I've noticed some decent fading. People have told me it looks like a fall leaf but I am hoping the color will change, idk why it looks coppery. I've had no blistering with this laser and so far the healing process has been going smoothly

I see you're in San Jose. I went to a place in Folsom, which is a few hours from you but I'm sure there is an enlighten laser in the Bay Area. I would search for enlighten providers and one should be around!
