Compression Leggings

WORTH IT$16,000
I got these compression leggings from a drug store before surgery they are size med and although tight they fit. It was a little bugger getting them on but feel good and compressed now. Still swollen legs and hips but elevation helps a little. Nevertheless I am really happy to be in leggings as I wouldn't have been seen dead in these before surgery... just the odd time at home.

U look amazing
It's so hard to find good compression leggings that give you the tight compression you need but with some sort of comfort. I found some that I REALLY like on a special website and they are expensive but I now think that they aren't tight enough. Hmm? Also, some scab came off my scar on each calve and it's oozing just a little bit. I wonder why it hasn't completely healed since I am at day 37 of recovery. I put some medical grade honey on each spot and covered with bandage before I put my garment back on. My swelling has been pretty good besides my ankles after a day at work. I can't complain there. I also have one small spot in my groin incision that is slow to close. I will be SOOOO Excited once these few spots are completely healed so I can stop focusing on them and making sure the garment isn't cutting into my groin and so on. Plus, Dr. Fisher said I could consider going back to the gym at week 6 but no way until my incision is completely healed. I'm going to take it slow because recovery is my #1 priority at this point. I'll just be patient and wait until I heal. How is your incision??
How are you feeling and looking now?
So being that it is June now, how are things? You look great! I'm sure you feel better too. I go see Dr Fisher for a consult in Aug for Leg lipo and lift. My lipedema is bad down to my ankles... 2 ankle knots on each outer leg!
Yes, I’d love to see pics how you have healed (area where there may be a scar visible). I agree. You look great.

Feeling a little better today

Two weeks today I had my surgery and still not close to recovered but certainly feeling more human and when the swelling is down I get excited seeing my hairy legs (haven't shaved yet)!
When my adult daughter saw my legs less swollen today and me standing she said I look so weird, like it's not even believable that those are my legs cause they are so thin. Think she is finally realizing why I did it, before I believe she was almost annoyed that I was placing my life at risk for something she thought was so cosmetic. She also told me that she has two lumps in her inner thighs and now she is wondering if she has lipedema. She asked if that was possible being she is at her ideal weight. I said possibly and to watch out for it because looking back at the women in my family it's certainly something we all have in common no matter our weight.
My backside incision is still very sore, swollen and leaking. My daughter is going to get me some guaze pads and then I am going to attempt to wear my size small garment as the other size now is too loose on my lower legs!!! You read that right... too loose. Lol
You are all probably tired of seeing photos of me lying in a chair but it's the easier pic to take at the moment.

Thanks for the update! Your legs look awesome - super thin and smooth, like those of a teenager. So happy for you that you are on the mend. Wish you luck on your continued improvement and I'm glad your daughter now understands a little more how important it was to you.
I think your legs look great! Glad your feeling better.
Thank you so much for your sharing. I will feel more at ease when I have a similar procedure done because of you.
It's painful but I can see already it will be life changing. Just really set your mind to know it is a long healing process or you will get discouraged easily. It helped me prep for my journey reading all the brave women that had this done and posted pictures and their stories. So for example the other day I had hardly no swelling, was feeling like I took two steps forward in recovery, than the day after I was swelled up again for no real reason other than that's all part of the two steps forward, one step back long healing process. Although annoying I didn't let it get me down I just keep on focusing on trying give myself time. I am a business woman so I tell you this is the most I have ever stayed put... thank goodness for technology. If you are going to Dr Peter Fisher you are in the best hands.
I'm so excited for you! The swelling part sucks so much and just know that it can come and go. I'm 8 weeks post surgery and while 99% of my swelling is gone, I swear out of nowhere I'll swell up, but then it goes back down. Anyway, totally love Dr Fisher, he's the best. Your legs are looking fantastic. I know some people, including family really didn't get why I needed to have my surgery done but they have started coming around seeing my results and actually hearing how it was for me before.
Awesome. For some reason it does feel good when they stop knocking your motives to do the procedure and come to realize it was a necessity for yourself. ;)
so nice to hear this! I have to go back and see the before and after... good for you!

Still swollen. The area I can't tell yet what it will look like it my backside because my hips and mid-section is so swollen even though nothing done to my tummy are during surgery.

Hang in there! I had the same full leg surgery by Dr. Fisher on Sept 19th of this year. I stayed at that same hotel and also had the recliner that I slept in for 12 days. It does get better but take it very slow!! I'm on day 29 of recovery and back at work. I sit all day and brought a pillow to sit on and keep my feet propped up under my desk. I still have some swelling but Dr. Fisher said to expect that for up to 6 months. Compression garments are such a pain and I've spent so much money trying to find one that I really like. I wear my leggings day and night. I have a small opening in the groin but it is healing. Good luck to you. I'm sure we will both love our results after a few months but the struggle to getting better is real. Dr. Fisher is the best!
thanks for the pics!
Looks great
