I Recommend Dr. Wetzel to Any Other Trans Women Looking for Gender-affirming Care

I've looked through the reviews, and most of them seem to be (as far as I can tell) by cis people. As a trans woman, I just want to say that I've also had similarly positive experiences with Anderson Center for Hair (and Dr. Wetzel specifically) as the other patients who've also shared their experiences on here.
As someone who didn't start on estradiol until my 30s, I unfortunately had the bad genetic luck to end up with thinning hair and a receded hairline, which were a huge source of dysphoria for me. After a long fight with my health insurance, I was able to (incredibly) get FUE partially covered by insurance.
I'd read a lot of positive reviews about Anderson, but still had a lot of trepidation about the procedure. Hair transplants aren't something most trans fem people are able to get, and a result, there's not nearly as much information out there about FUE and FUT in terms of gender-affirming care as there should be.
The recovery from FUE was, to my complete surprise, minimally painful. The bruising for the next week afterwards (at least for me) was rough, but from what I've read that extent of bruising is uncommon but not unexpected, and certainly not due to any fault on the part of Dr. Wetzel or the other staff.
What DID surprise me most was Dr. Wetzel's communication. During my recovery, he was unbelievably easy to reach and responded almost immediately to all the questions I had. This is virtually unheard of compared to other medical procedures. His responsiveness eased my mind (particularly about the swelling) and helped me feel like all the next steps of the recovery process were clear from the jump.
I chose Anderson after having read numerous positive reviews, and I'm glad I did. And I'd certainly recommend them, and Dr. Wetzel specifically, to any other trans fem people looking to have a similarly positive experience with this absolutely vital gender-affirming procedure.
