Hair placement is really bad - I will never wear my hair short

UPDATED FROM Awesome5149

Update

To provide an update, the reasoning I am unhappy with the results are on many levels from the consultation, to people constantly and out the room music blasting . 2000 grafts were placed apparently. This is the first time since I got my haircut that I realized I'll never be wear my hair short. The difference is noted and was on Sunday when a question was raised about why the front of my hair is longer. The biggest issue I have is the hair placement, I'm sorry but its really bad. Hairline is good no issue, but the result as a whole no. I've dated the photos from a few days of growth. Disappointed.

After 8 months, it honestly doesn't look that bad. You should wait until a full 12-18 months to realize the final results. I have a feeling you will have a pretty good overall result. If not, you could easily remedy with minor scalp micro pigmentation treatment. Can you post some before pictures, so we can get a better idea at your starting point? But as I said in the beginning, for 8 months, it looks pretty good.
Sorry to hear you’re unhappy with your results. To be honest it doesn’t look botched and I personally think you have a good result. The texture of the hair is a little different as it’s from the back of your head. Try a doorag at night to train the direction of your hair. Castor oil and obviously a biotin conditioner. Over time you’ll notice the difference. Hairline looks natural to me. Grow it out at the top a lil bit. The difference between the native hair and transplants will be more apparent but a few fibres sort it right out.
It can take up to 18 months for the transplanted hair to mature.
I had my FUE 15 months ago ant the texture of the transplanted hair has changed quite a bit.
Give it more time.
Looks like they were placed wrong, like all bunched together,If you grow it I would say would look better but you should be able to have your hair however you wanted it,probably another hair procedue needed.
The doctor is only hre to do the lines na free the ones doing the operation don't have. Clue, they don't follow why the doctor said Is not point to go there is ge doctor don't do the operation.
ORIGINAL POST

Unhappy with Results from Dr Cinik

I decided to undergo a hairline restoration HT with Dr Cink.
To say I am frustrated and disappointed is an understatement. The front looks completely unnatural, has gaps and my hair is pretty much destroyed. I am mixed race with curly hair and am 9 months into the procedure using the supposed DHI method. I consider this a botched job. I know there are a lot of positives reviews on Cinik and I'd like to be one of them, unfortunately I am not and I have a very dodgy looking HT to live live. But the reason for my post is because I'd like your feedback please. is this just what it is or should I of hoped for a better result?
The contacts at Cinik do not care one at all just state the quality of the back of my head is better than the top. Ridiculous comment! Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks.

I wouldn't call this botched. You should be somewhat fair , it is cosmetic surgery and never will be 100%. With that being said, I'm not sure what your complaint is based on photos it looks natural at this length, and small gaps between grafts are usually done to secure bloodflow to the graft for optimal survival. How many grafts have you had? Is your donor area destroyed? Again, this goes to show that the DHI method is not always superior with the implantation method
I am looking into FUE myself and while I'm no expert your hairline looks great. I don't think I could ever even have that!
Can you post some more pictures ?
The actual hairline looks great; it's the hair itself that looks different. The implanted hair doesn't look like the rest of the hair behind it. Maybe it's too soon to judge the results...
Over the months in will mature will the rest off your native hair, you have to give it time,
8 months is just too soon.
