Fantastic Experience. Twice!
I’ve had two hair transplants with Dr Cinik. I had severe male pattern baldness which left me with almost no hair at all on the top of my head. I had the typical “horseshoe” hairline. My first transplant took place in May 2022 and covered the front half of my head and was roughly 5500 grafts (I forget the exact number). I was very happy with the results which encouraged me to return and have the back/crown of my head done in April 2023 with a further 5500 grafts. I think it was around 11,000 in total.
I spent a long time researching various doctors and clinics in various countries and I decided on Dr Cinik in Istanbul for a few reasons. Firstly the feedback from former patients of his was largely very positive with the vast majority of his patients being pleased with the service and results.
Secondly Dr Cinik has his own clinic. I felt it was very important for me that my chosen provider have their own established premises. Many cheaper providers rent rooms in hospitals and if something went wrong with one of these providers, you risk not having anywhere to go back to for any follow-ups or complaints. Thirdly the price was very competitive. I took the FUE primary package for both of my transplants. Each procedure cost approx. €2300, dollars around €4500 in total. This included 2 nights in a good hotel in Istanbul both times and transfers to/from the clinic and the airport.
A full year on from my 2nd transplant and I’m delighted with my results. I’m told that the crown takes longer for full results, possibly 18-24 months for full growth. So by this time next year my results should be complete.
I want to thank Dr Cinik and his wonderful team for a fantastic service. I am so happy I went ahead with the transplants. Having a full head of hair once again had completely changed my life and given me a new found confidence. I fully recommend getting a transplant if you’re contemplating it. I have no regrets and it was the best money I’ve ever spent and one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Truly life changing.
