Hair Transplant After Decades of Trichotillomania
WORTH IT$4,572
After suffering from trichotillomania for about 35 years I finally decided to seek help from a professional therapist. And after a year trich free I decided to do something about the big bald spot I created. Sadly after so many years of pulling my hair it never grew to what it was. But somehow I only concentrated on the crown area. Still it's about the size of a small saucer 10-12cm (5") in diameter.
As I googled for treatments online I came to a clinic in turkey. Where a lot of duth celebrities went and had great results. The problem was... I don't speak Turkish. But the clinic has an interpreter. I set it a side, cause I was still in doubt about traveling to turkey.
After more research I came to this clinic, Visus Haarkliniek. Not even 20 minutes from where I live. So I looked more into it. They have their own youtube channel where they explain everything, from the initial consult, the treatment and the after care. There are even clients who talk about their experience. And so happens that the doctors are trained doctors from Turkey.
So I went there for the initial consult with my own list of questions. Very nice Dutch speaking female doctor. Very soft spoken but very professional and clear about the procedure and expectations.
Because I have curly hair that curls through to the roots I had to do the FUE method. Which basically meant that they had to shave the bald area to implant. Other than the DHI method where they implant the hair directly into the bald area without shaving it first.
