WORTH IT
I had my surgery 1 year ago today with Dr Civas. 3700 grafts FUE. I would say I had a pretty good result from my surgery. Before I wouldnt leave the house with out a hat. Now although I wouldnt say i have a perfect head of hair its good enough for me. I can make it look reasonable. The surgery for me was fine. Dr Civas speaks very good english and he is very welcoming and friendly. I could go on about my experience and in to detail but i wont. If any one has any questions I am happy to answer. Here are my before and after pictures. I realise it is still a little thin but its good enough for me to get on with life for now. I may have another transplant in the future or maybe even SMP. Overall I would recommend Dr civas for most but maybe not for anyone who is extremely picky. Although I am happy with the result of my surgery there are a couple of criticisms. 1 there are quite a few multigrafts in the hairline ( although very fine ones) 2 my opinion is my donor area was overharvested in a certain area. when buzzed below a grade 2 this is quite visible. This doesnt bother me to much though. I just keep the hair slightly longer. In the future I may get SMP if i decide i want it shorter again.

Hi, congratulations on very good results, I’m a patient if dr Civas. I am in my 8 months mark. I would say I have a similar results, maybe a bit thinner. Do you mind if ask how do you usually cut your hair and which product you use to control it. It seems to me that it is still hard for me to figure out the best cut suitable for my case. Thanks.
great result

Off topic, does anyone know why Dr Civas' account was suspended?
Hey there! To answer your question, "Account suspended" means that a doctor has administrative actions related to his RealSelf account. This is strictly related to his activity with RealSelf, and not activity related to medical boards or other government bodies. Those are marked differently: "License suspended" or "License revoked," for example. Hope that clears things up!
