My Good Experience with Dr Arslan/ FUE Sapphire Hair Transplant in Turkey
- My experience with Hairmedico Dr. Arslan Musbeh (excellent)
I've been thinking about getting a hair transplant for years (I'm 31 and I've been fighting alopecia since I was 22) and I finally decided to do it. After researching SEVERAL doctors for this intervention I came to my name Hairmedico in Istanbul, Turkey.
I contacted them at their number in Spanish and had an immediate response, where they explain how the transplant works and who can do it.
The young man I spoke with is called Jaime, very kind and always willing to help me in any doubt I had.
First he asked me to send him several photos of my baldness to know how many grafts I would need. The next day they answered me and the doctor told me that I would need approximately 3000 grafts. They also ask for blood tests to see that everything is in order in the patient and to proceed with the transplant.
I had already seen good experiences in this forum with Dr. Arslan and in other pages. So I didn't think twice.
It should be noted that the package with Dr. Arslan includes transfers to the hotel/clinic/airport. Also 3 days hotel (in my case). The hotel is very nice, comfortable and clean (it is important when arriving after surgery to an impeccable place). An interesting fact is that in the hotel know that some patients come from surgeries, so everything is always clean and impeccable.
I arrived in Turkey on a Sunday, and on Monday I was picked up by his assistants, one was called Asma, very kind and the other who assists him in the operating room. The clinic is 9 minutes from the hotel.
Once I arrived at the clinic they took my blood, for analysis and to extract the plasma for use in surgery.
After that came Dr. Arslan, very kind, very professional and attentive to all the details, the truth 100 points with him.
A few minutes later we entered the operating room, they took pictures of my current state of baldness and began to draw the lines for the transplant. Then they shaved me completely. Something I liked very much is that the doctor does not take lightly the drawing of the line, between him and his assistants redrew several times the line to make it look as natural as possible, excellent teamwork.
Once this was done I lay down in bed for the surgery on my stomach, and they put the local anesthesia in several parts of my neck, since it was the best donor area. Once the anesthesia took effect the doctor began to extract the follicular units one by one with the micromotor they use. The assistants helped him to collect each follicular unit. After this, the doctor begins to make incisions in the donor area. In this case the doctor used a special SAFIRO scalpel. The particular thing about this scalpel is that it is more precise and does not hurt the recipient area when making the incisions for the follicles.
The doctor himself made incision by incision respecting perfectly the naturalness of the capillary line. After that he began to place one by one each follicular unit with the help of his assistants. All very professional. Once the follicular units are in place, they inject the PRP (plasma rich in platelets) which helps the recovery and reactivates the cells.
The operation lasted 7 hours.
After leaving the operation I was given the necessary antibiotics to take during and after the trip.
The day after the operation the donor area was bandaged, and I was in the hotel all day resting. I had hardly any discomfort. Everything was normal. The next day I do the first wash, the doctor personally does it for you. There they give you the shampu and what you need for when you leave. The truth is that I am more than satisfied.
After that they took me to the airport and they will follow me for as long as I need it. I am in contact with them in Whatsapp.
In short, all the benefits of having surgery with Dr. Arslan Musbeh:
-The doctor is with you at all times of the surgery, few doctors in this area are with the patients all the time.
- The FUE sapphire technique
- The PRP session (platelet-rich plasma)
- Post-operative follow-up
- Transfers + hotel and everything you need they are at all times to help you.
Soon I will upload some before and after photos.
Greetings!
