FUE Turkish Hair Transplant at Harmony Clinic in Cancun Mexico

6 months post transplant
WORTH IT$3,750
I’ll upload some better pics soon but here is the outcome six months post transplant. The hair is slick back and you can tell the growth is amazing. I been taking 1mg Finasteride daily and Biotin as suggested. I don’t always remember to put on minoxidil.
You do have to be careful with finasteride and get your hormone levels checked because it might make you produce even more testosterone to supplement. Mine is in 900s since I started this but the DHT is lowered so the hair doesn’t fall out anymore. Finasteride is also prescribed for enlarged prostate (but 5mg) so this way you probably won’t have a problem with that either.

Daily 1mg Finasteride + application of 5% minoxidil and 10-30mcg of Biotin.
BTW all drug stores including Walmart sell their own knock off of Rogaine. It’s like $30 for a 3 month supply. Liquid has alcohol so if you have dry skin buy foam instead.
The hair is coming in nicely and evenly.
Pretty happy with the progress only three months in.

Aftercare day 1 to day 6
I put a little video together, enjoy!
I made sure I slept with head significantly elevated, I never rolled over or touched the grafts in early days, washed very very carefully with the cup, kept the donor and transplant area clean at all times, and finally… made sure the scabs are softened up and gone for good. Did not lose any grafts.

This is so helpful thank you! I'm getting done on the 23rd in the UK I hope it goes as smoothly as yours. I'm more anxious about walking to the car afterwards than anything
You’ll be OK. Read my initial post. I traveled from Mexico back to US without any wound covering and did OK. It doesn’t actually look that bad. Once you have survived the initial local anesthesia injections it’s all easy from there. Sleeping sucks ass at first. I barely slept first 5 nights because of fear of rolling over.
Awesome video! Thanks for showing. Do they do PRP?? Any blood tests or anything else involved?? Did you feel safe there?? Thanks in advance.
Thanks! No PRP, you can get that anywhere nowadays. Do your research. There are claims that needles might do more harm to hair follicles than good that early on. Think about it. Your donor and transplant area are already injured and tissue repair happens naturally.
Traveling to any foreign land for a cosmetic sure can be scary.
My friend went to this place a few months before I did and I knew exactly what to expect. Therefore I felt safe.
They took my blood when I got there. I asked why and I was told for plasma.
As a medical professional myself I can tell you that I don’t remember them spinning tubes to separate the plasma or injecting it. But then again I got injected so many times during the local anesthetic and that was just brutal. Had my friend not done this first I would’ve thought that I was gonna die for sure. Especially when the blood started splattering around during extraction. Couldn’t tell you much about the reasoning behind the blood draw part of the process. Everyone performing the procedure spoke Turkish and very little English.
All in all, it all went as planned and explained prior to the procedure.
You’ll get an email with detailed instructions on everything.
My friend and I been both using baby shampoo as instructed, daily dose of 1mg Finasteride and 5% minoxidil and her transplanted hair is already pretty grown in. Mine is already starting to show growth six weeks post operation. I think that’s more important to you. I have zero complications to disclose and the transplant seems to be a success although it’s early to say. I’ll make an update video three months post op, then six months post op, and a year. Hope that was helpful.

Thank you so much for your lengthy and descriptive review! I have my operation in November. Was thinking of flying all the way to turkey from US but the mexico spot was way easier to travel to.
